Mario's Pizza

"The grandma pizza, bbq chicken pizza, chicken Alfredo pizza and the garlic knots all super highly recommended, none better in Delaware! Mario is the actual owner, you'll find him working there during the days only, he's old school Italian from Italy, was in NY but moved to Delaware so he could close on Sundays. He's open Superbowl Sunday but otherwise he holds true to why he came here. Eat up!"

"Marios has been a great addition to the shopping center off of 896. Their pizza is fantastic (especially recommend their Grandma Pizza). Their prices have risen quite steeply recently, which is disappointing; however, my family genuinely love their food and will return time and time again."

"I am from NJ originally, live in DE last 20 years. This is the closest to NJ/NY style pizza in the state. The grandma's pie and even better the drunken grandma pie are my favorites. The staff is very friendly and the crust is nice and thin. May want to ask for your pizza a little well done, because sometimes the slices can't be detached from the pie one handed while driving. I only eat in my car because my dog can be annoying when I eat at home. Not in the best neighborhood but the best restaurants usually aren't in my experiences."

"Pizza Hunters App heads to Delaware to try some Pizza. The people were very nice and the Pizzeria was welcoming and offered a variety of different types of pizza. The regular slice was thin and offered a good sauce and crust. An above average slice. Good start for Delaware."
