"Wow! Just had a confrontation with the manager! We had purchased 2 gallons of paint for a bathroom project being done in our new home. We had panels and trim work done on the walls first and it was time to paint the walls and wainscoting. I had chosen Aura Bath and Spa, Matte “Mophead Black” for the walls and Regal Select, Satin “Simply White” for the wainscoting and trim. When the cans were removed from the box today I noticed that the tints were added to the wrong products and bases. A simple mistake by the girl who mixed them but the manager instantly started to tell us that it was our fault and he could do nothing about it. We should have noticed it sooner. We have used Benjamin Moore paint our entire lives. My husband was an executive at the head office for many years. I am an interior designer and specified Benjamin Moore products almost exclusively. We know the products inside and out. This was definitely not our mistake. After arguing, the manager reluctantly gave us our properly mixed paint and we left. Of course we will not be returning but more importantly, it was shocking to be treated this way in a Benjamin Moore store."
