"We enjoyed our stay at the Ashley Rose, while in the smallest cottage, the Tea Rose. The room is small but enough for a couple for a week if you're spending most of your time out and about anyway. We felt like the air conditioning needs service and it wasn't a hot week at the beach. Barely throws cold air at all. The refrigerator worked, but needs thawed out as the freezer portion is completely encased in ice and almost unusable. The room was relatively clean upon our arrival, and it comes as advertised, however a broom and dust pan would have been nice if nothing else. (You'd be surprised how many would find that useful) Maybe some sort of cleaning product for food surfaces as well and a few hooks throughout to hang damp suit and towels. The bench outside is all but broken and needs replaced so there is nowhere really to sit as the porch is reserved for tenants in the main house. The location is ideal for Cape May, and I would come again simply based off that. Outdoor showers were convenient and gas grill was nice."

"We stayed in the wild rose cottage, we were very pleased. We are a family of 4- 2 parents, a 9 yo and 1 yo. The cottage is on the smaller side but it worked perfect for us. Everything was clean and well taken care of and the owners are very attentive and will fix any issues fast. The dvd player wasn't working in our room (wasn't a big deal but I wanted to let them know for future guests) and she came the next morning to replace It! The only thing to note is if you're not staying in the main house, the parking is a little challenging. You may need to walk several blocks to find parking. We would definitely stay here again if we are in Cape May."
