"My favorite Indian restaurant! I’ve loved every dish I’ve tried from here. Great variety of both meat and vegetarian dishes. The food is always hot and plentiful and the service is always quick and friendly. Overall amazing!"
"The food was the worst! Ordered three different curries on the menu but all three curries were exact same when they came! No taste difference. I am Indian myself so im not like generalizing it. I ordered very different curries that i know look, smell and taste different, but not only was food bad (& it was bad because my brother said his college canteen back in India had better food than this , his canteen food was really bad) all three curries tasted and looked exactly the same! Worst food we have ever eaten (or thrown away to trash) in my life!"
"Great tasty Indian food! Didn't realize there was this great place so close to the Navy Yard. My friend and I both had the combo meals which came with Samosa, entree, naan, rice, and a drink. I had the lamb saag and he had the chicken masala. We were able to customize the spice on each and it tasted great! I don't eat Indian food that much but from someone that doesn't eat it that often, this was a great place for lunch. Overall, if you are craving Indian food near Navy Yard this is the place to go and grab lunch. Worth the short trip."
"It’s a very casual dining setup but comfortable. Had the garlic naan although I ordered the rosemary, veggie samosas and chicken biryani. The samosas were a bit thick… had little taste. The naan and chicken biryani were divine( I’ll come back for those items). The gentleman server was kind and efficient. Parking might be a challenge depending on time of day. Not pricey."
"Amazing experience. They had given salad and on top of that option to switch rice with butter naan for the curry which was like am I in India right now? The goat vinadaloo was amazing. Perfect spices and hot. The chicken butter masala was bland but then we asked for mild. I think the flavor was not coming properly. The paneer makhni was also on sweeter side even though we asked for spicy. But they do have something called garlic chili naan, which was a treat. Too much chilies, order on your own risk lol! The regular garlic naan were great too. I enjoyed the presentation of the place and serving. It felt like having the treat in India. The mango lassi was on seeeter side, the sweet one was not so much but freshly made. Overall a good add to neighborhood and Philadelphia India scene, I think if you order according to taste you won’t go wrong."
