"I don't know how I went so long without knowing about Helen's. I'm not usually a fan of sausage sammies like that but here they are amazing. ❤️Don't be fooled by the unassuming building/exterior. Get a sausage on a roll with cheese and a fried egg and it is magic. The ladies at the counter are nice also, and although there is almost always a line out the door (which speaks to its awesomeness), they get orders out pretty quick, and it's worth the little wait."

"****This is their newark location****For almost double the price and half the size.......not surprised. Nothing is ever better then the original!! The taste is there and that's the only reason for the 2 stars. Hopefully this was just a fluke I'll give it one more shot."

"I finally got around to trying Helen’s Sausage House after hearing from so many people how good it was and reading about it in the news. So, I made the 30 min trip from home early in the morning and I was not disappointed. I got the double sausage egg and cheese and it was really good. I’m a big fan of breakfast sausage but some brands can go overboard on the seasoning, this is not the case with Helen’s, their sausage is seasoned just right… which is probably why the line can sometimes be long. Nevertheless, a five minute wait in line was worth it. The staff are super friendly and they made my food right in front of me. It is worth mentioning that they only accept cash for payment. However, they do have an ATM located in the restaurant which came in handy since I wasn’t aware of the payment restriction."
