Smyrna Diner

"Service was excellent but I can’t blame the waitstaff for the quality of the food. The food came out quickly but was not appetizing. When I bit into the chicken the entire bone cracked and it appeared dark in color which usually indicates it was frozen for too long. A bar rescue would do this place wonders. I didn’t even want dessert because my family and I were so disappointed with the food. And for the bill to be $$$ the food was absolutely unacceptable. My 8 year old said the pancakes were good, but her chicken tenders were cold and not good. My 9 year old said the burger was sweet and tasted like it was microwaved. My 14 year said his steak was mostly gristle. My BF said his bread wasn’t fresh and toasted too much on his chicken cheesesteak. He said the cheese was ‘govt’ cheese. My sweet potato fries were the only thing I could tolerate. The restrooms weren’t clean and the trash was overflowing. And the mirrors were dirty. I’d visit again if they stepped their game up."

"I went here for a business breakfast, the food was okay. Nothing to brag about. I didn’t enjoy the texture of my omelet it was mushy. My home fries were thick, flavorless and in desperate need of seasoning. The coffee was fresh & hot. The service was great, we were greeted and served right away. Our food came out fast and our server was very attentive. The diner was very clean and modern on the inside"

"Seems a little disorganized as to which waitress is helping you. Food is def average diner food."

"Went here tonight the wait wasn't long got setted right away waited about five minutes for someone to come over to take my order it was the hostess that got my drink order waited about five minutes for the waitress about 15 minutes for my food order I ordered the grill Reuben which came with fries and coleslaw which I was thinking a big thing of coleslaw it's was a very small cup the sandwich which was really good the cornbread was very fresh it was a great sandwich the coleslaw was really good even though u get a very small cup the fries they aren't nothing special just fries from a bag the waitress came over one time after she gave me my food because he had to bring another table their food so if that table wasn't there I don't think I would ever see her the food was great can't say the same about the service first time here would come back for the sandwich I got because it was really good but don't think I would dine in"

"Haven’t been to Smyrna Diner since I was a teenager. We stopped for breakfast on our way home and it was decent. My husband did the breakfast bar getting the biscuits and gravy. He said the biscuits were hard and the gravy had no flavor. I did an omelet, which wasn’t terrible, but I’ve had better. The kids had pancakes and French toast. They loved them. I thinks it’s a hit or miss, in my opinion. The staff were great and our waiter was on top of making sure we had everything we needed. As for price, we ended up paying $75 for four people, little expensive for what we received."
