"Pasta was fantastic. The red sauce was delightful, too. Meatballs slightly dry and lacking flavor. Service was fine - dealt well with us as we were a loud and disorganized party of seven. Tiramisu chocolate layers tasted a bit like Hershey’s syrup, but I am very critical over flavors so take this with a grain of salt. Large dining areas which is great for big parties. Also fairly quiet and spacious."
"This place has been around for a long time, and the decor shows it, it could use an update. I was here only once before quite a while ago when I worked close by and had a meal with some co-workers. The parking is some what limited. Service is average. I always order the same thing at a new Italian restaurant, the house sauce with spaghetti,. If they can make a good red sauce the rest of the menu has a chance to be good. This red sauce was VERY tomato forward and not a very balanced sauce, I can say I would not order it again. Meatballs were included with my meal and they were not very good , kind of bland tasting and they fell apart into ground meet when I cut them up into smaller pieces. My wife got the ravioli (with the same red sauce) and thought they were under stuffed. They make their own pasta in house it was good and cooked tho the correct firmness. Overall it is and average Italian restaurant"
"Took my daughter and her boyfriend. Ordered a pizza for a starter. My daughter asked for bread . Pizza came . Ordered our dinner . My escargot came, was very different , needed some garlic . And needed some bread . So my daughter asked again had 2 mouthfuls of escargot left and finally got our bread, thank goodness for the pizza crust . The kids thought the bread was a bit spicy, I did not taste it, I’m immune. The entrees were all very delicious . I had coffee in the beginning of my meal , had to ask for refill , also had to grab another waiter to get more water . I had seen a worker coming from bathroom , guess she did not realize the toilet was running , I fixed that . Overall not bad, but feel service could of been better."
"This was the first time my cousin and I had gone here. The waiter was top notch. He was very mannerly and accommodating and quite charming. We both had the Sonny Sangria. It was large and quite enjoyable. I had the chicken picatta with pasta. It was pretty good. A few of the chicken medallions were a skoshe tough, but nothing to be a deal breaker. My pasta was cooked perfectly. The sauce was mild with only a wee bit of lemon taste. My cousin got the lasagna. The sauce was quite tasty. The bottom lasagna noodle was bordering on hard. The top two noodles were good, but as she got nearer the bottom, they were hard or barely bendable. Otherwise, it was good. The bread they offered was quite good as well."
"Enjoyed this restaurant several miles from university of Delaware. The service was out of this world. Our waitress made sure we were well taken care of and gave us updates on food arrival. They were hosting a wedding and bridal shower at the same time and had to waiting one minute at the most for drink refills and bread refills. Party of 5 ordered clams casino, calamari, maragherita pizza, as well as several pasta dishes. Classic Italian taste with hearty portions on all meals. The dinner was a little pricey but for a night out was well worth it. Will visit this one again soon"
