"Very Personable staff. They care deeply for your pet. I loved when my cat had her first appointment I was sent a thank letter and they featured her on their board at the front desk!"
"Exceptional Veterinary Care at Dr. Cohen's Office! As someone who works in healthcare, I have a deep appreciation for well-run medical facilities with staff who genuinely care. This is precisely what I found at Dr. Cohen's Center City Veterinary Hospital, and I cannot express enough how pleased I am with the exceptional care provided by Dr. Cohen and the entire staff. From the moment I walked in, I knew my puppy Rocki was in the right hands. Dr. Cohen is an exemplary veterinarian who exudes expertise and compassion. His ability to connect with both animals and their worried owners is truly remarkable. He took the time to thoroughly examine my pet, explain the diagnosis, and discuss treatment options in a way that was both clear and empathetic. His dedication to providing the best possible care was evident in every aspect of our visit. But it wasn't just Dr. Cohen who made this experience outstanding. The entire team, from the receptionists to the vet techs, demonstrated the same level of professionalism and warmth. Their commitment to providing high-quality care is truly commendable. What truly sets this veterinary office apart is the genuine love and passion they have for animals. It's clear that they view their work as a calling, not just a job. and it's incredibly reassuring to know that your pet is being treated by such a dedicated team. The office itself is clean and welcoming, creating a stress-free environment for both pets and their owners. In summary, I can't recommend Dr. Cohen's veterinary office enough. If you're looking for a place where your pet will receive top-notch medical attention and be treated with kindness and respect, you need not look any further. Dr. Cohen and his team have set a standard of excellence in veterinary care that is truly praiseworthy. Rocki and I are grateful for their unwavering commitment to the health and happiness , and as someone in healthcare, I deeply appreciate a well-run office with staff that truly cares."
"I know many of you adore this hospital, but I’m sharing my experience as a minority woman who attempted to obtain an appointment. I was denied an appointment for my cat by Center City Vet Hospital when I called on the phone strictly asking for an appointment. A woman who is unlicensed (not a nurse or nurse tech) then proceeded to give me medical advice on how he needs ER attention or could die. He had peed outside his litter box but was otherwise healthy. I then made an appointment at another clinic with no problem. Then tonight I received an email from Sam, from Center City Vet Hospital, stating that if I do not have the money to take him to the Emergency Room for this, I should reconsider if I have the capacity to own a pet. When talking on the phone, the writer of said email (Sam) admitted she isn’t a vet or vet nurse but still provided her medical opinion to me. Sam also didn’t disagree on the phone when we asked her if she was saying poor people don’t have the right to own pets if they can’t afford Emergency Room fees. We tried to talk to them in person (no yelling, no cussing on our part) because they refused to give us any contact of a manager or owner I even handed Sam the phone to show her the email she wrote to me, which I will be sharing publicly and reporting as well. At the clinic, the two white women (Sam and the other woman) in the office talked down to us and cut us off (we are Mexican and Indian minorities) , accusing us of confrontation when we voiced our complaints. They refused to give us any number or name of management or owner and said the owner doesn’t deal with complaints. When we said we had a difference of opinion and had the right to voice that, they said people like us don’t have the right to that and should leave. They then shooed us out like we were inferiors. Racism Classism Also-Unlicensed medical advice"
"The attention to care and bedside manner for owner and pet is exceptional. You’re never made to feel like your concerns for your furry friend are unfounded, and questions are always answered clearly and with compassion. Both Dr. Cohen and Meister are really wonderful to our dog and the staff is fantastic."
