"Firstly, when we arrived, there were no sheets, towels, or any soap, dishwasher detergent, washing detergent, paper towels, toilet paper, etc. After making several phone calls, we received the sheets which were not clean and had hairs still on some of them. It was disgusting! We could not use the kitchen due to all the dirt everywhere and dead insects on the floor as well in the cabinets. The bathrooms were disgustingly dirty and I had to clean the bathroom myself in order to use. We ate out all the time due to the filthy kitchen. This is just unacceptable! The lack of cleanliness and hygiene promotes germs and spreads disease. This will be the last time we book at Sea Colony as we lost trust and confidence in cleanliness, attention to detail and guest satisfaction and safety. I took several photos as well. Really disgusting."

"Overall this is a terrible rental agency. If I had a house I would think twice before renting through this agency. We arrived to the house already having things broken (screen door and toaster), one of the bathroom's had zero lights that worked which meant at night it was completely pitch black and basically unusable. Communication was poor and overall was not impressed with the rental. Could have gotten something in much better shape and nicer for the same price. We also had a family emergency and called to see if they would be willing to at least re-post the listing to in order for someone else to maybe book the weekend we had booked in case we were not able to make the event due to the emergency and they refused to even list it again. We also asked about at least not having to pay a cleaning fee if we didn't ever show up for the booking since nothing would have to be cleaned and they refused. Overall, not impressed and would not book again."

"This was the WORST vacation rental service I’ve ever booked through. One of our two baths was non-operational throughout the entire trip. A plumber came half-way through and left a crescent to use so we could turn on the shower with it. The master bed collapsed on us during the first night and maintenance came to only take pictures for insurance purposes. We slept on the floor the rest of the trip. Dirty laundry from the previous renters were left on the front porch for two days after we arrived. The evaporator pumped broke towards the end of the stay and leaked water all over our food in the pantry. Someone actually came that night to at least provide a temporary fix. I called both contact cards of the business cards left at this office and left voicemails and neither of them ever returned my calls. One of the back patio chairs also broke as we were just casually sitting and eating breakfast. The issues were becoming comical at the point. The worst part of all of this is no one ever offered to give any sort of partial refund for this place and they still believe that we should pay full price. Please do yourself a favor and DO NOT allow this company to be involved in any part of your future vacations."

"139 Whisperwood Ln, Rehoboth Beach, DE 19971 I would rate zero stars if I could. At a certain point we were almost waiting for a camera crew to come out and tell us we were being punked because of what poor condition everything was in. We were informed on our way there that one of two showers was out of order, it was never fixed throughout our week stay. So ten of us shared one shower for seven days, until the equally-as-unimpressed repairman came and left us his crescent wrench to operate the second shower with. The towel rack in that bathroom fell right off the wall, there was nothing behind it to hold it in place. My husband and I were too afraid to sleep on the homemade bunk beds and crush our kids- speaking of which, homemade bunkbeds seem to be an EXTREMELY generous way of saying a place "sleeps ten people" when FOUR PEOPLE are expected to share a set of BUNK BEDS. Master bed collapsed on the first night, a mattress for the floor was sent in its place, no one ever bothered to send someone to fix/replace it. Crusty pots and pans left in the cupboards, as well as glasses put away with lipstick on the rim. It's as if no one even bothered to do a once-over just to make sure things were at the very least SANITARY before a group who PAID TO BE THERE arrived. Patio furniture was rotting and chairs fell apart from being sat on. The ceiling in the kitchen pantry started leaking intensely toward the end of the week. They sent out a maintenance man after 9 o'clock at night with no warning or confirmation from us. We saw and spoke to more third-party handymen (who were INFINITELY more helpful and empathetic) than Vacasa representatives. Everything we informed the company about ranging from things we were dissatisfied with and complaining about, to things we felt that they just ought to know for their own sake were met with the same canned "I'm sorry to hear that" response and request for pictures. Half of our plans were cancelled or delayed because we never knew when to that they would randomly send a repair guy. When we attempted to negotiate some sort of financial reimbursement, they wouldn't refund the cost of even ONE DAY. I could've gotten the same experience at a motel for less hassle, less cost, and the exact same quality and customer service. One week expecting to get what you paid for, or expecting to get something in return for your time and money wasted is apparently far too high of expectations for this company, which we will not be using again and advising everyone else keep far away from. What an absolute joke."

"We used Seachange for a September beach trip and couldn't have been happier with their service. Viki was a huge help; when we first reached out, she listened to my family's needs and made the perfect suggestions. The home we selected was brand new and only 3 blocks to the beach. It was also only 10 minutes to the center of Rehoboth Beach which was a nice bonus! The price was very reasonable. They kept us informed leading up to our stay and provided all the relevant information in a handy app everyone could put on their phone. The home was spotlessly clean and exactly as pictured. We appreciated all of the check ins throughout our stay (including a reminder that parking downtown is free!) and that the front door was a code so that everyone in our party could come and go as they please. Overall, we recommend Seachange to anyone who wants a great Delaware beach stay!"
