Reviews
"Howard and Kyle are great!"
"Great company for Beach Rentals, accomodations are top notch and staff is very knowledgeable"
"We vacationed at the Henlopen in October of 2020. Please be aware that L&F selectively publishes reviews. I tried twice and I note the most recent review published for the unit I rented is dated in 2017. The Henlopen is being renovated outside. The unit balconies are not available to guests and will not be for some time. There is also construction noise. Our unit had the furniture for the balcony stored in the middle of the living room. None of this was disclosed beforehand. The unit was not well appointed as far as tp, paper towels, soap, detergent, staples, etc. There was no tp shortage in October. A bit like glamping as you have to bring everything. Sorry. I love the Henlopen but this is unprofessional."
"UPDATE: Management reached out and resolved the issue. Thank you! A nice location marred by poor cleaning during a pandemic, and management that seems not to care. Upon entering our unit, it was immediately apparent that whatever cleaning had been done was cursory at best. In particular, both bathrooms were atrocious, with urine stains on and around the toilets and quite a bit of dirt and hair on the floor, as you can see from the pictures. We spent our first hour of vacation cleaning the entire apartment ourselves, for our own safety. Ironically, they indicated prior to our arrival that check-in may be delayed until 6 pm for additional cleaning due to the virus. Further, the envelope we received at check-in stated to contact them about any cleaning concerns by 3 pm the following day. So, we emailed them the following morning with our concerns and included pictures. We emailed our assigned rental agent as well as their general email address, but after a full week, we have not received a response. Ordinarily, cleaning is important, but given the current situation, we would have thought that extra care would have gone into cleaning. At the very least, we would have expected someone to follow up with us within a day or so regarding our concerns, but unfortunately, nothing was done. Incidentally, we are now back from our vacation, and our 4-year old son has a runny nose and other Flu-like symptoms. I hope I've given you some "food for thought" in making a decision on where to safely stay during a virus outbreak."
