"I had my second appointment on October 20th with Sarah. I was due to have my hair colored, full head foiled and cut. I had color and 8 foils. No cut (last cut was August so I was due) I left with a bill of $219 being charged for a cut. When I reviewed the bill and called the salon on Saturday 10.21 I was told the manager or owner would call me in the afternoon. I did not hear back from them. I called back on Wednesday, Oct 25th and spoke to the manager, Marissa, who was very accommodating. The owner was finished her cut and got on the phone. She said she didn't have time to call me back on Saturday and she wanted to talk to Sarah. She did not want to believe until she spoke to Sarah. She wanted to offer me $17 for the difference and was extremely rude, she still wanted to verify with Sarah. I offered to come to her shop and she could check my hair, she declined. Please tell me where you get a ladies haircut for $17.00. I left the shop that night with an inch of a dye line down my forehead and Sarah did not want to blow dry my head nor cut my hair, I assume she wasn't in the mood to work. What shocked me most was the owners attitude. She did not care nor did she want to help in the overpayment for the cut. I will not be back to this salon. If you go, please check your bill at the time of service. They do not believe their customers. They also do NOT return phone calls when "they are too busy". I would have expected better from a business owner. *** The owners response shows lack of responsibility for a starting stylist overcharging their clients for services that were not performed. She didn't return my call to discuss my complaint in 5 days yet can respond to her negative google review within hours! I added a picture of the front of my hair. It is obvious it was NOT cut cut in the last 2 weeks, so there is no "re-cut". There wasn't a cut in the first place. Why would someone take the time to complain when the service is so obvious? Poor customer Service!! BUYER BEWARE! As you see in all negative responses the owner would rather attack than resolve. Some people just leave and don't come back. When you visit this shop it is obvious they are struggling! There was another woman in a chair who returned because whatever Sarah put in her hair they came out in 1 week so another associate helped her. I will make my call and send my pictures to the Better Business Bureau. Does that picture look recently cut??"

"Fantastic experience! This was my first trip to Elayne James and I was super impressed. The whole staff was very friendly, the salon was neat and clean, and my stylist Amber was awesome!! She took extra care when washing/cutting/drying my hair through the entire process and she really listened to what look and style I wanted. And I was beyond happy with my whole experience. Amber is very talented and I will definitely be coming back here for all of my future hair needs! :D"

"This salon has exceeded my expectations every-time! I came across them when looking for a place to get extensions after getting a bad haircut. They took amazing care of me. The extensions blended absolutely perfect and looked natural! They are very good at what they do here! And I have continued to go back to Jess for all my hair needs and she kills it every single time. While making my hair the healthiest it has ever been! I recommend them for any service. But most definitely for extensions! I just had my second set put in and love them!"
