"Nice clean and modern hotel. We were disappointed they charged for parking. Was impressed the bar stayed open late for when we came back from a wedding. Starbucks had the slowest service."
"This is one of those scenarios where as long as you don't need anything - all is well. The moment an employee needs to do something you'll have problems. There were two great team members at the desk... the one who checked me in and another who extended my reservation. But the one day I went down for breakfast, the Bistro employee was over an hour late from the time the Bistro should have opened. And just now, I called the front desk for a hot tea... the Night Auditor told me the bistro is closed. I asked if he could take a tea bag from the bistro and i would pay him at the desk... he told me he couldnt do that. I asked housekeeping for towels and wash cloths and I left for the day. I came back and not only was my room not serviced (not a big deal at all), but i didnt have my wash cloths and towels. I more upset over the tea bag... I just stopped working at a Courtyard after 4 years (mine was marriott managed and this one is a franchise)... I know that night audit still does drinks/coffee/tea at night. I was the Night Auditor and they trained us on coffees and such. I guess this property doesn't empower its employees to be excellent. I rated them a 2 overall because the front desk rep knew how to extend my reservation and pull from my points - That's not common... the rest of my requested needs were not met. The night auditor should have just gave me the tea bag if ringing it up was that difficult. (I have 14 years as a Night Auditor across Marriott, Hyatt, and Hilton)."
"I stayed at this hotel on a Wednesday for 1 night for work. I found it to be clean and the staff courteous. Checked the boxes of what I needed and I’d stay again if needed."
"Had to get two rooms over Thanksgiving for a hockey tournament called to make a reservation when I got my bill I was charged over 15 dollars a day for parking for both rooms. No one ever disclosed this charge and when I called to ask they said it is disclosed in their website. Even though I only had one car. Terrible service and a total money grab. Stay somewhere else. They have a huge parking with plenty of spaces. Why do you need to charge for parking? They did not even ask if I had a car. What if I came with another hockey family. Not to mention I killed two spiders in my room. I am a Marriott bonvoy gold card holder go stay somewhere else. The best is when I emailed filling out the surgery I still got the same nonsense response and never addressed the fact I got 2 rooms and 1 car. Two night stay two rooms. Cost to park my car in their huge lot 64 dollars. Unbelievable"
"I was extremely disappointed to say the least in my stay here. First we checked in the day before thanksgiving so I was going in understanding that house keeping was not going to come until Friday and I was also informed when booking that I would be charged for parking, also did not mind. However my opinions on this changed as I realized that it is a giant scam. We checked in and found out that there was no breakfast at all supplied. Ok no problem we would eat elsewhere, then we were advised prior to coming and during our stay (which we prepaid for) that a $30 dollar incidental hold would be applied. Nothing else. When we looked at our statement Friday we realized there was a hold for $150 not $30. I then went down and asked Omar if parking was included he said it was. But the math still did not make sense as 4 nights and incidentals would have been less than 100., I then another another girl the next day and she advised its $30 incidentals per day plus parking. NOT ONCE were we advised that we were going to be charged anything more than 30 dollars at the time of check in which would be helpful to a lot of people. We were told on the phone and at the desk $30. So next time make sure to advise people it is more than that you are putting the hold for. The next thing is we were there for 4 nights and 5 days. We had 3 people and only 2 towels. I asked numerous times for towels at the front desk and each time was informed they were completely out until I asked the night before leaving and they finally had some 4 days after check in. I asked for house keeping every other day, they did not come at all until the day before we left and took ALL of our towels and left us NONE in the room which is why i had to go down to get the said towels then night before we left. Now lets talk about parking, when I booked I understood I had to pay for it BUT when I got there, I was not asked for any vehicle information at all, the parking lot is open and not gated or monitored so anyone at all could park there and there was a sign stating the hotel is not responsible for the cars or items left in cars. At this point someone from the hotel accross the street or anyone who wanted to could easily park there and not a single thing could be done about it because you would not know if they were or were not a hotel guest as you took NO information. I think that parking charge is frivolous and insane on these basis. The hotel was extremally noisy with whomever was staying on the 2nd floor RUNNING through the halls, sounded like teenagers at 11 pm. The people at the front desk were also nearly never there, you had to walk down the little hallway to the right or speak really loud and say "Hello" or "can I get some help". When I voiced my concerns I was told my different people that this hotel is under new management and the parking fee is recent. I have stayed in MANY hotels as I travel for work, this was so horrible I will absolutely never stay here again and probably will never stay with Marriott again. Hilton is far superior even with hotels at a lower class than this one."
