Candlewood Suites Philadelphia - Airport Area, an IHG Hotel

"They charged me a 150.00 fee for incidentals and I had none. I called 6 times to get my 150.00 refunded. Once they said it was refunded and my bank verified it was not. Another time, the agent said it showed on their in credited back. Once again, my bank verified it was not. The last time, after trying to reach a manager, the manager gets on the phone and says i wad charged 150.00 for smoking in the room. I HAVE NEVER SMOKED A DAY IN MY LIFE. I am waiting on Manager final say so today. On top of that there was police that were in the hotel because of an unrelated altercation that night. WILL NEVER STAY AT THIS LOCATION AGAIN!!"

"The manager took it upon himself to charge my credit card for an extra night after I showed them they had already charge my card for $760. After I notified them of the situation the manager got an attitude because I told him that I didn't authorize the one day transaction. He told me that he canceled the charge for the $760 because he didn't see where my card was charged and want me to pay another $760 the next day even though he just tied up the first $760 for three days. His exact response was I'm sorry for your inconvenience but we will need to charge you again before the money I just canceled clear or you can get your one refunded and put on hole for 3 days and you can go find somewhere else to stay. So even though i had just had an extra long day dealing with the airport I left the hotel and i will end up having to sleep In my rental for 2 days into I get paid because that over $800 wont be cleared for me to get another room"

"We have stayed here twice and will likely in the future. Family friendly hotel and includes a kitchen if you bring your own groceries, it is nice. I would bring your own utensils and cutlery, even if they have included in hotel room. Comfy beds, clean! It is near a train track, so some noise pollution 5 mins every hour."

"Great hotel! It's super clean and comfy. The quality of the rooms were so impressive and I was very pleased with my stay. The staff is great and it's super close to the airport, about 12 mins away. The room I stayed in had a kitchen with utensils and plates, dish soap, microwave, stove top, pot, dishwasher fridge with freezer, and a nice long desk for doing work. There's a gym and laundry in the hotel as well. I recommend this stay and will definitely be back here since I travel to Philly often!"
