I stopped shopping there because it was always dirty, the employees talked too much to each other and didn't care about the customers. It was very unwelcoming. Thank you new management! The parking lot has been cleaned up with new paint and it looks so much better. I'm happy I can go to Dollar General again and be happy with my shopping experience."

"The store was clean and shelves fully stocked. Associates were very friendly. Only issue I did have was having to get associates attention to have an item removed from order at self check out after waiting 5 minutes. Wouldn't of been so bad of there wasn't to associates 1 self checkout away when machine said associate will be right with you."

"I shop at the Dollar General weekly in different locations as I can get in and get out way faster than if I were shopping at Walmart. It makes my shopping trips convenient and efficient. A few days ago I was at the Glenwood location. Because of the ban on plastic bags and the sign on the door that states “bring your own bags”, I did just that. My bags are the thick, reusable bags with cloth handles. They are quite big. I purchased them at Redners some time ago and I often use them. At check out as I put my items on the counter I handed her my bags. With absolute disgust, the very unpleasant cashier (short middle-aged lady with longer brown hair), looked up and said it is store policy, I cannot touch your bags!! I was shocked but went on bagging my items myself. A week before I was there and the older, very nice and helpful lady didn’t have an issue touching my reusable bags. Since then, I have been to the hamlet location and the rt 8 location and those cashiers handled my reusable bags. I asked about the “store policy” and at both locations they stated they had never heard of that. The irony is at the glenwood location, right there, on the door it says “bring your own bags.” I like Dollar General but will not be going back to this location because of that nasty lady with the bad attitude that will touch everything else you hand her, money, etc but not your reusable bags!!"
