Best Western Plus Newark/Christiana Inn

"We stayed here last night 12/19 amd was awful. The first room the toilet was obviously not cleaned and clogged. They moved us to a second room and the toilet was not safe. The toilet seat was broken and sliding off the toilet. One of the beds squeaked unbelievably bad. The air conditioner didn't work even after we turned it all the way down. We will not be staying here again."

"Definitely needs to update their breakfast, the pool was freezing but the hot tub was perfect. Rooms seemed clean however they did have roach powder all up and down the halls. Staff was friendly and check in was quick heads up though they need $150 deposit."

"Really not that bad. The beds were clean. I saw other reviews talking about bugs and we did see one bug, but it was one of those water bugs that get into anything anywhere and it was only one. The customer service was fine everyone was friendly. We didn’t get to go to the pool because we didn’t have time but from what I could see it was clean and nice. The breakfast was underwhelming, but definitely edible. I would probably stay here again especially bc it’s the cheapest for how clean and safe it was"

"I stayed here 2 nights on a Thursday night and a Saturday night. Thursday the room smells like some kind of herb. I was able to mask the smell with my perfume. I checked out on Friday and realized an hour later that I forgot my thermos and my Apple Watch there so I came back for it. The front desk gave he a card to collect my stuff but when I arrived at the room, it was already cleaned out with the tips that I left, my thermos and my watch no where to be seen. The front desk was nice enough to call housekeeping and they say they didn’t find anything there. I came back on Saturday and left my info with the front desk to see if anyone would return my stuff. It doesn’t look like I will get my stuff back so definitely make sure if you stay here to do a final check and take all your belongings. I left my phone and other things at hotels before but always able to retrieve them. I will update this review if they return my stuff. Update from 2 to 4 stars: hotel called me today and said that they found my watch. Beside missing stuff, the stay was good for the class of hotel. thank you front desk team!"
