"Come here if you want to get a door slammed and locked in your face! I encountered some of the most rude associates tonight at Ulta. I showed up to the store 5 minutes prior to closing to pick up my online order, thinking it would be a quick transaction. Instead, I was met by an associate who pulled the door shut and then locked it in my face. As I was trying to explain to her that I was just there to pick up an online order, she shouted, “we are closed” and walked away. There were still customers in the store being rung up and all it would’ve taken was to check my I.D. and hand me the product. Needless to say, I cancelled the order and will not be going back to this location. Judging by the other reviews and complaints about the staff, the manager should really consider doing something to correct the behavior."

"I ordered a lip oil online for in store pickup. When I went in she handed me a bag and told me to check it. The product in the bag was the wrong shade. The cashier (not sure of her name) called over a girl named Sam. She had a bad attitude from the start and said that this was the shade that I ordered even though the picture showed the color I wanted. They told me that I had to come back tomorrow in order to return it and that we couldn’t exchange it then. I decided to just buy the color that i wanted even though it wouldn’t have the sale price that I had gotten on the other one. Then I told her I had a 20% off coupon and she told me I was unable to use it because she already processed the order even though I didn’t hand her any money yet. I am very disappointed with the customer service and their attitudes."

As a manager, one would expect a higher level of dedication to assisting customers, especially when faced with the challenges of a less than ideal day. Cristina's evident reluctance to provide assistance and subsequent retreat to her phone, hiding behind the salon counter, sent a clear message that customer service was not a priority at that moment. I find it disappointing that such an experience occurred in a store dedicated to beauty and customer service. It underscores the importance of fostering a positive and supportive environment, both for customers and employees. A suggestion for improvement would be to instigate further training for staff members, ensuring they are well-equipped to handle diverse customer needs. Additionally, an emphasis on cultivating a respectful and positive workplace culture would likely contribute to improved interactions between employees and customers. In conclusion, my visit to Ulta left me disheartened and questioning the commitment to customer service within the establishment. "An associate offered and helped me find what I was looking for and wait time online was not very long. Always ask for your points balance as the cashiers don't typically offer. Store is clean and well stocked."
