"Yesterday was my first visit since their move from Hartford to Farmington, and I was impressed with the new digs. The place is open, bright, airy, and fresh. It was an easier drive, an easier parking lot, and easier check-in process. From admitting to recovery, it was the smooooothest process with the nicest people. So well-run, fully staffed, clean…I just can’t think of anything better to say. Oh, yes! The Connecticut Surgery Center not only has a much better facility, it’s also bigger! They do nearly everything there! I was thrilled to hear it because I really appreciated the experience I had yesterday, and I know I’ll be back, so…great news for this patient who felt very well cared for."
"I got an adenoidectomy and a tonsillectomy with Dr. Edward Lee of Prohealth Physicians. This was my first major surgery besides small dental procedures. After my insurance denied my surgery at a big hospital like Saint Francis, I was contacted by the CT Surgery Center to schedule the procedure. The facility is small, easily accessible, HASSLE FREE, well lit, clean, I could go on! From the moment my procedure was booked, the facility kept in touch to ensure I had everything I needed for the big day. All of the staff that I talked to on the phone or met in person there were extremely kind, professional, friendly, and detail oriented. Drop off and discharge went very smoothly, there was no confusion on where to go or park, and I can not say the same about other facilities I have been to with my family."
"When I walk into any medical building I look closely at cleanliness everywhere A plus is my grade for CSC! Receptionist was awesome!! I was able to do most of the paperwork online prior to my appointment so that made it real easy!!! My first nurse was awesome, lots of communication she was comforting, funny, thorough and professional !! Dr of Anesthesia again awesome lots of questions explained everything so I could understand things!!! Operating room nurse awesome brought me down to a modern surgery room I think there was at least 4 professionals in there all communicating to me what they were doing, after they introduced themselves. I was given something to relax then nightnight nurse anesthesist was awesome!!!I had a Meniscectomy by Dr Jambor again awesome!! I not shaming anyone but I respect medical people that look like they take care of themselves !! Sorry it's my thing . My BMI is obese !! Everyone appeared to look that way healthy and confident at CSC!!! Thank you !!!!"
"The staff was so kind and attentive to my concerns and needs. I highly anticipated my surgery and was nervous. However, the nurses and doctors who attended to me collectively put me at ease. Their knowledge, skill, professionalism and incredible genuine bed side manners are second to none. In spite of my circumstance, it was a true pleasure to work with them. I am most appreciative that they, along with my surgeon, made this a positive, successful experience. ♥️"
"Such a nice experience! Nurses were very kind and understanding. I am surprised this place doesn’t have any reviews yet so I decided to add one after my surgery. Nurses will understand you’re in pain and do what they can for you. I have small veins and they struggled to get an IV in (as everyone does) but were extremely gentle about it while Middlesex hospital made me cry from being so rough. I could even watch them put the needle in and see how gently they moved it around to find the sweet spot! I had rhinoplasty and was given some apple juice and goldfish as soon as I woke up, which really helped the nausea and burning throat from the breathing tube. They understood I get nauseous easily and did everything they could to make sure I was comfortable. Amazing people, what I aspire to be later on in my career. Thank you Dr. Andrews and staff!"
