"Great, clean place. The staff is great! They even give you tattoo ointment for free! Prices are reasonable as well. Would recommend!!"
"Not only (and most importantly) did I get a great final result, but I had an enjoyable time getting the tattoo. Robledo is a 12/10 guy with extraordinary talent."
"Found Robledo from Brooklyn Tattoo Studio on Instagram and asked if he would be willing to draw out a design for a tattoo based off my favorite anime of all time (Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann). A day later I was given three different color mock ups for the tattoo I wanted, all drawn by Robledo himself, and I loved them all! His responses couldn’t be any faster; if I had to choose a lifeline between my mother and Robledo for the show “Who Wants to be a Millionaire?” it would be Robledo. All I had provided him were a few pictures of my forearm for placement (some of the pictures included my arm measurements with measuring tape), a signed email authorizing Robledo’s work order, and a $100 deposit sent through Venmo. I can’t even get a week’s worth of groceries for $100. Within a day’s time Robledo won my trust. We set up an appointment date and not once did Robledo ask for me to come into the shop or for any extra deposit fees (not that this is a problem; if you tattoo artists asks for more compensation, I suggest you provide it, body art is forever and very valuable). The shop itself was brand new and spotless, so clean and spacious I could’ve done the moonwalk or the tootsie slide with my rugged snow boots on (it had snowed that day). Now I’ve never met Robledo nor have I ever spoken to him on the phone, but despite this fact, I was not in the least bit worried or anxious just based off our conversations through Instagram. I came into the shop at 12PM, signed a form, and within an hour of talking about the tattoo combined with Robledo prepping his work station I was in the leather reclining tattoo chair, ready for the piece. Now this was not my first tattoo, I’ve had 8 tattoos before Robledo did my 9th one, all from various artists. I have tattoos from “Instagram famous” artists like Mr.K and Eden Kozo and tattoos done in college and party towns and even a tattoo from a friend in his own apartment, but none of those artists came close in work ethic, dedication, and most importantly character of this man, Robledo Moreira. I left his tattoo shop at 4:30AM (yes, the next day). I was sure to compensate him greatly for his time and effort because obviously, we both did not expect to leave at such a late time. Our personalities matched up and we were both committed to finishing as much of the tattoo as we possibly could. Robledo could have stopped working anytime he wanted to and we could have made another appointment for a second session but instead he said if I were down to stay, he was down to finish it. I had told Robledo about my high pain tolerance beforehand but throughout the whole 15-hour session, we only took about 4 or 5 breaks, Robledo still kept asking if I was alright and if I felt any discomfort even until the end. Usually, by closing time or if the tattoo is nearly finished, most artists would rush the last bits of the tattoo or try and cut corners to complete it. Robledo, on the other hand, spent just as much time and detailing the last couple of hours as he did when he first started the tattooing. I was in absolute shock and awe that Robledo cared so much and was that dedicated to my forearm tattoo. It was probably because this was his first and biggest anime color tattoo but it came out like he had done 1,000 others just like it. I remember clearly, at one point during the tattoo, Robledo was so focused that sweat had gotten into his eye and he had to wash his face before continuing. Now if I were as dedicated to my ex-girlfriend, as Robledo was to my tattoo, maybe we wouldn’t have broken up and there’s even the possibility that we’d be married. All jokes aside, if you don’t take my word for it and this doesn’t explain what type of person and artist Robledo Moreira is then I recommend you meet the guy yourself when booking your appointment. I can guarantee that a tattoo artist like Robledo is hard to find and he’s won me over as a client for life. I just want to thank you Robledo again, you’ll definitely be making it big as a tattoo artist and I hope you keep up the amazing work!"
"My fiancé got his neck tattooed here last week, ended up coming again on the weekend to tattoo the other side. The artists know what they are doing, and make sure you are happy with the final design. Will definitely be coming here again!"
