"We have mostly seen Dr. Porter, but also had excellent experiences with Dr. Amato and other staff. Dr. Amato and Dr. Porter are both outstanding and brilliant. Really nice atmosphere with a clearly good office culture where everyone has been very good and seems to really care about their patients. When our kids were super infectious, they still wanted to see them in person, and thy just saw them outside to reduce exposure. Really thoughtful and first-rate place with outstanding care."
"Worst experience first the lady at the front desk was extremely rude and made my daughter feel like she wasn't enough. And they don't ever have appointments when your kid actually needs it. They just say oh your gonna have to wait"
"Not happy at all. Last year we went for a "well visit" for my son to go to Elementary School with all her updated shots. The Dr. was great, and asked me if I had any questions. We did not. We were charged and EXTRA office visit for questions. Insurance was billed and of course anything not covered was sent to me. I called and talked to Prohealth service. The woman said it was policy to charge extra office visit for additional questions. I told her we didn't have any. We were in the office with the dr for MAYBE 5 minutes, and that is even probably more than we were in there. She said she would waive this one time. Well, I decided to say "ok, well it was a mistake, no one is perfect"----and then this year noticed they sent it to freekin' collections! How unfair, and we have no recourse! In the meantime I had brought our son for his physical (since I thought they had rectified the previous situation with my daughter), and charged us extra and the insurance for a "mental health evaluation", which we declined and they never did. They also did a physical at the wrong date, so it was not covered by insurance. We had no choice to pay full price out of pocket because they would have missed the first week of school due to some timing error in the office. The office told me, well the first physical was the wrong date (which was with them) and now insurance will not cover your second because of the date. -----VERY FRUSTRATING, billed for $375.64 for something that should have been covered. Office offered no help. Once again I called and spoke to someone at ProHealth and they agreed that we didn't have this evaluation done and they would "escalate the ticket"---whatever that means. We are still getting bills for this service as well. Since when can you charge insurance and patients for things never done. We will not go back here, which is a shame because the office folks and doctors are very nice. But, where can you go and get overcharged and sent to collections? Good Old USA Health Care system. Very Sad, very dissapointed."
"I started taking my step daughter here when she was in 6th grade and developed a great relationship with the staff and it was even better that she was able to form a relationship with them too. I felt like my concerns were listened to and followed up on while also protecting her privacy. When my son was born, I opted to have his care through Enfield pediatrics as well. Being a “first time” mom I had a lot of anxieties and was always able to voice them. When it came time for his shots, the staff answered all of my questions and always took great care in administrating them to him. I appreciate that the practice has a separate room for sick patients and during covid took precautions ensuring there was no contact between an Ill patient and a regular check up. (And they still do post covid). As with all things, as a parent you need to decide what’s best for your family, do your research & advocate for your child, but I truly feel that the care of Enfield Pediatrics is a great fit for us."
"We have always had great care from the providers at this practice. The doctors, nurse practitioners and Medical assistants really take the time to get to know you and your children. We always get in same day when the kids are sick and have never had a scheduling issue."
