I also love how dr yencho never rushes you out of the office and always listens to your concerns and doesn’t push you into doing something you aren’t comfortable with for your child. He genuinely cares about your child’s well being and doesn’t just push unnecessary medications. He is the best !"

"Dr. Ram's was an extraordinary physician and an extraordinary man, and the office that still bears his name is a perfect reflection of Dr. Ram. I have four children, from age 9-23, and they have all been to Dr. Ram's office since birth/adoption, and now see Dr. Yencho in the same office. Dr. Ram was a brilliant man, who knew how to speak to parents at a level that was professional yet approachable. I met Dr. Ram when he treated my son for a skin disorder that other doctors had brushed off. When my preemie son was born, Dr. Ram opened the office on a holiday so that he could see the baby the day he came home from the hospital. Dr. Yencho shares so much of the character than made Dr. Ram special-- explains everything thoroughly and is patient with answering questions. He also has such broad, yet detailed knowledge-- I trust his expertise 1000%. The office staff is lightyears beyond what I typically experience in health care offices-- they are immediately responsive and always empathetic. They understand the panic of a mother with a sick child. They are polite when I need health forms for school-- even if it's the 10th time I've asked for the same form! They have always been sensitive with each of my children and their special needs, including my son who is deaf and another who is autistic. The office staff has known my children for so long, they are like part of our family. Ask any parent who has brought their child to this office, and they will have a special story about how the doctor and staff have gone above and beyond for their child."

"I can't say enough about the wonderful care my children have recieved from Dr Rams office. Dr Ram passed away a number of yrs ago, and my kids have seen other Drs from this practice that also work in Hartford. They are such a great group of physicians. My children have been patients since they were 4 years old and they've always treated my now 20 yr old kids in such a caring professional and empathetic way. They always made my kids laugh and feel at ease, and they always looked forward to getting a Dum Dum lollipop or sticker after their appt was done. Dr Yencho is now the Dr there and has been for a few yrs. He is great with the kids from young, to teenage years, and has a wonderful personality and is a very smart physician as he makes a diagnosis of the children's issues. Basima and Mrs Ram are such dears, and they always greet us with a smile. The amount of work they handle on a daily basis with insurance, appts, forms etc is very involved, and they are still always pleasant and wonderful to interract with. I personally feel I have formed friendships with the staff and I could call at any time and they made time for my kids. We have always felt valued and important, no matter what the reason we came to the office for. They are simply the best. We will miss all of the wonderful staff at this office, and have a special place in our hearts for all of these great people. If you are looking for a pediatrician I recommend their office without hesitation! You will feel your children are in good hands and will receive the best care!"
