About the Business
Connecticut Counseling Centers, Inc. is a health institution located at 60 Beaver Brook Road in Danbury, Connecticut, United States. Our dedicated team of licensed professionals, including physicians, psychiatrists, nurses, and counselors, specializes in providing evidence-based treatment services for substance abuse and mental health support. We offer bilingual staff to better serve the cultural needs of our Hispanic/Latino clients.
We are nationally accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities and licensed by the State of Connecticut Department of Public Health. Our funding from the Connecticut Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services enables us to make a positive impact on the lives of those seeking recovery.
Our Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) programs for Opioid Use Disorders are evidence-based and include a variety of medical, nursing, psychiatric, and counseling services. These programs have been clinically proven to be safe and effective in decreasing drug use, overdose rates, and improving overall quality of life.
In addition to MAT programs, we offer Intensive Outpatient Programs that meet three times weekly for three hours each day. These programs provide evidence-based treatment tools in a group setting to assist patients in reaching their recovery goals. We also offer outpatient substance use programs for individuals struggling with alcohol, cocaine, narcotics, cannabis, and prescription medications.
Our compassionate and professional staff work with individuals to develop personalized care plans based on their unique needs. We strive to promote respect and dignity through culturally competent treatment teams. Our goal is to provide patients with the recovery skills needed to live productive and fulfilled lives.
Connecticut Counseling Centers, Inc. also offers the Bridge to Recovery (BTR) program, which provides peer mentoring services for patients recovering from opioid addiction. This innovative program was developed to support individuals receiving medication assisted treatment for opioid use disorders.

"If ur looking for real recovery DONT COME TO CT COUNSELING!!!! They have no Covid persuades and also don't care when weapons are pulled on people in parking lot. Have no security. Has no help to get off . They are constantly on u about jobs but paying taxes too! Also playing favoritism here and their about the clients, only being cool woth those they "LIKE" ! SOME1 NEEDS TO CALL DEMAS OR something on this place for its evil and negovitiveness is spreading amount the danbury community like sickness. They Anrt their to help u. Go to Bridgeport if u need a program . plenty to pick from. Ty be safe folks."
"I've been struggling to get clean for two years. At 8 months clean. wasn't able to give urine's so they threaten me with withholding making me jump through hoops for Methadone. Instead of trying to compassion towards the situation they just aggravate the situation and it's a daily occurrence to the point where you don't even want to go into that place. It's very hostile. And they refused to help me much of complaint in other words to tell me where to Lodge a complaint they refused to tell me"
"I wish I had more positive things to say about this place but sadly that's not the case. Methadone itself is a life saver, literally. I have been clean for multiple years after trying to get clean for many more. However I have had nothing but negative experiences here. I dread each and every morning that I have to go there. They do not follow the relaxed take home guidelines that have been extended with no end in sight. You are a number. Nothing more nothing less. Carissa and Maria are some of the most negative, unfair, unreasonable, and unkind women I have ever encountered. How they are considered supervisors is something I will never understand. The newish gentleman that hands you your name card each morning is also very rude. It seems no matter how you greet him, he wishes he was anywhere but behind that counter. I will continue to stay strong and stay clean and not let their egregiousness effect my sobriety, although some days are easier than others. I firmly believe that I will have lifelong PTSD from attending this clinic but unfortunately the next closest one is almost 40 minutes away so for now I will continue attending CT Counseling daily"
"I’ve been on this program now for seven year got out Never had a problemThere’s never a problem until all the counselors start it’s only the main one was Darren and he’s an awesome counselor the other one is Maria who’s been there since Danbury HospitalBut that program is so runs so bad I’m staff to not know what they’re doing if you’re five minutes late you get written up you gave more than two times you get detox how how crazy is that ma’am, I had direct her to that program and something that’s going to change because I’m tired of going to that program and getting attacked by these counselors like that"
"If your able to go to a different clinic please do. Save yourself the aggravation and stress that you will get from being a patient here. I transferred here from Poughkeepsie unfortunately I had to choice and and I have had nothing but trouble. NONE of the staff care about the patient there it's all about money. It's truly sad. They also allow people that are still actively using drugs to stay on the program. WITH NO REPROCUSIONS. It's sad. Like I said though it's all about money to them. If I could give a 0 I would. Please continue your treatment anywhere but at the danbury clinic!"
