I recently called to schedule an appointment after transferring out for the last year since I had moved to a new location. Now living back in Ffld county and having had been a patient for 10+ years, I am very disappointed in how poorly I was spoken to… when it comes to someone’s medical records and health. Highly recommend looking elsewhere for a caring staff!"

I do not believe they deliver babies anymore, and for me, this is a wonderful women’s healthcare practice. Dr. Tandon is exceptional!"

"I started going to this practice after my first OBGYN refused to show up at Bridgeport Hospital when I went into premature labor. His preferred hospital was St. Vincent’s, so I had to give birth without him. For my second pregnancy, I was referred to the OBGYN of Fairfield County and met with Sandy. The absolutely treated me with kindness and understanding. She listened to my concerns and my background and even identified testing that the previous doctor completely missed. It’s been 15 years and they are still the best group of Doctors I’ve had, and have been to them the longest. I’d recommend anyone to go there if you need medical assistance."

"Do yourself a favor and never go to this practice. They are rude, unprofessional, and incapable of filling a simple birth control prescription. I had a video conference with Dr. Tandem early December where I told her my negative side effects to the pill I was on and she told me she would give me a prescription for a new pill. I was supposed to start this pill late December and I have tried to pick it up multiple times; the first time I was told a prescription was never called in for me, and every subsequent time I was told I was missing some form of authorization from their office. I have called numerous times since then and each time the office has sent me in circles. They blamed my pharmacy so I switched to a different one, yet 2 days after I was told I could pick up my birth control, the office rescinded their approval and put my prescription on hold. They are now trying to claim I am on a mail order plan when i have been picking up my birth control in store for years. I missed a whole cycle of being on birth control because of this, and will likely miss another as my next cycle starts this weekend."

"Went to this practice for almost 20 years. Recently switched only because I am pregnant and preferred to deliver at a different hospital than what this practice is affiliated with. I called and explained that because I've developed a great relationship with Sandy, and needed my records sent. They seemed brass, and their was no sense of urgency to send my records. I also received a bill 4 months later for blood work that we were told was 'mandatory.' I did the blood work, but was also told that if we chose to not get the results because of the high cost that we would not be charged. After learning from my new doctor that this procedure is not in fact mandatory, we chose to not get the results (they never called with the results as well). But then I received the bill. So I called their billing department and spoke to someone who was pretty rude. She said that she has the consent form in front of her with my signature on it (in very matter of fact like tone). I explained what I was told (how can I even make that up?) and that's why I was confused and concerned, and I never received the results regardless. Still rude as ever, she responded "well the results are negative and because you transferred out we don't call you with results." I said to her, so you don't call patients with THEIR results regardless? Seriously?? I was so upset after that I just hung up. Best money I've spent to never go back there. Its a shame, this practice used to be very good, but over the last few years has had a huge shift. Their Stratford office became very ghetto, and their doctors very unprofessional. I saw Sandy for years, and over the last 2 years or so there were times recently where I waited in the exam room for 45 minutes! I also saw Cheryl before I left, and she was the worst! I left there in tears! She was so cold and mean about what was going on and told me to stop doing this, this and this. But I didn't do anything of those things. I left there feeling very self conscious, dirty and terrible about myself. Only to find out it was a change of medication I needed because I was on the same medication for years and my body was simply changing. When I talked to someone there about that visit they basically were like that's not like Cheryl and made me feel like I was crazy or making it up. I'd never go back or recommend. Again, its really a shame."
