"If I could give minus -5 stars I would. The pharmacy staff is so unprofessional, especially the young guy with dark hair and black glasses. We were all standing in line before 5pm on New Years Eve, Dec 31, 2023, waiting to get our loved one's their medications, and once 5pm struck, the guy with the glasses yelled out, "we're closed, come back tomorrow at 11am", and then proceeded to close the gate. We "BEGGED" him to finish with the remaining customers (three in total), and stay open for another 10 minutes, because our loved one needed their meds. He ignored our pleas and closed in the most callus way. I will never use CVS at 969 High Ridge every again, and I will tell everyone I know, personally and on all my social media (you know how powerful that is!!!!). I will scream at the mountain top that their customer service "sucks", and even more their "human decency". I hope they are proud of themselves, (guy with glasses and all with him, who followed his lead, and never spoke up); and hope they "ALL" get fired. I'm sure that their CVS training included compassion and decency along with customer service. They all go together, and has no time limit, correct????? I really hope the management takes this seriously. Thank you."
"Called 3 times today without a single person picking up. Waited 15 minutes on each call before hanging up. While waiting on the physical line, i called in to get info on the prescription that should be ready but isn't. Suprise suprise, i can hear the phone ringing but each person systematically ignores the phone. They aren't limited to tele-incompetence either, they do completely illegal things like breaking up controlled substances up into numerous refills so you have to come back once a week instead of monthly. They also don't tell you when they don't have the full prescription so you get home only to realize that you have to come back tomorrow! I've had one prescription for a very common medication that has been "in process" for OVER A WEEK! Even when it says a script is ready, at last HALF the time they haven't even started on it. I've been getting medication refilled at various CVS's for 2 decades and i can confidently say that this place should be shut down."
"Attempted to pick up a prescription... Was next up on line and as woman in front of me was waiting, 2 employees ( male and female) were just talking amongst themselves and not acknowledging anyone on line (there were others also behind me). I waited, as I needed my prescription, for nearly 10 minutes without anything happening or anyone making eye contact. I've worked in customer service for over 20 years and have extra patience for those who work in service, but this was ridiculous. Understaffed or whatever, communicate and acknowledge the customer. Absolutely terrible."
"Can’t get ahold of anybody on the phone, they won’t put a prescription in from a doctor unless you go in and tell them you’re there for the prescription. Then they tell you it will be 30 mins. Pharmacist walked away from my wife mid sentence. The drive thru is a decoration designed to frustrate you before you go in because nobody answers it. Cablevision has better customer service, they eventually pick up the phone. Picture was taken at night, this happened to be the 4th night in 7 days I had to go back for different prescriptions for my kids and the line was the same every time"
"Worst CVS I have ever been to. Most of the pharmacy staff are very helpful--but they are clearly understaffed. They have openly admitted that they no longer answer their phones, the lines are very long, the drive-through window is rarely open, and they NEVER have my Rx ready when I try to pick them up despite having received texts notifying me that they are ready. Filling any Rx there will require two trips--one to go in and try to pick them up, and then a second to return when they are actually ready. You can't call in advance for any reason so don't waste your time trying. If you must use this pharmacy and aren't able to make multiple trips over the course of a week to get an antibiotic or a critical medication filled, I advise you to call the CVS Helpdesk number and have them access your profile and attempt to reach the store for you."
