"STAY AWAY - Customer service is anything but good. I leave multiple messages to a rep familiar with my claims for a callback and she passes to some junior rep to call me back that cannot do much more than leave another message for the rep I'm trying to connect with, and then proceeds to interrupt me multiple times with canned responses that the claims are denied because provider(s) did not fill their claim properly within HPI's 90 day window. I'm out of pocket for hundreds of dollars thanks to HPI's lack of communication with providers. Overrated with 1-star; would give a zero if I could."

"I am very upset with the customer service of this insurance. I have called five days in a row and have yet to reach a person. I am currently on hold and have been for 40 min 44 seconds, to no avail. The other day I was on hold for 47 minutes and the line went dead. What is going on. I will no longer be accepting this insurance. The Worst EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

"You get a letter stating that the claim needs to go to the proper payer; but, there is no indication on the letter as to who the patient is. I have sent these back many times and it is still not corrected. (These claims were never returned with the proper information on them either.) Provider should not have to call & wait 45 minutes to an hour to get this information. It is NOT a HIPPA violation if we are the billing agent that submitted the claim."
