"Not the best, it's hard to even call the front desk because they leave you on hold forever."
"I've only recently retired but have only had positive experiences here. Parking can be difficult at some hours, but totally fine others. The office is on the bottom floor, so no stairs or slow elevators to deal with. The waiting room has lots of natural light and windows and is quiet. The staff has been really nice and always patient if I ask a lot of questions. I'm very relieved because of the bad reputation VA care has had over the years. Maybe things are improving, or maybe the people at this office just do a good job and have a good attitude."
"Wouldn’t recommend coming here unless you are an older, male veteran with a lot of service time. Otherwise, they will discriminate and dismiss you. I have had appointments scheduled at 9am via zoom be cancelled at 858am because “another veteran was higher priority needed my appointment”. How does one persons life take priority over another? Asked to make an appointment for a diagnosed back injury to look for a second opinion and they wouldnt make the appointment and instead put me on with a nurse who instructed I just use a “cold compress” for my decade plus back injury instead of just giving me the appointment I asked for to get a referall to have someone look at my back since the last time it was checked 7-8yrs ago. I wrote an email saying I was disappointed and felt discriminated against because I know if it was an older veteran they would have just gotten the appointment no questions asked and that they are dismissing me. They then responded that if I want an appointment that my regular provider is out and her backup is booked for a month. So again, if an older veteran called looking for an appointment with ANYONE at ANY time you would tell them theres only one provider and theyre just completely booked? So again I called them out on that to which they called me with an extreme attitude stating that “if im demanding an appointment sooner then I should have said I would see a different provider.” First of all, I never asked to see any specific provider nor did I ever ask to be seen ASAP. I would have taken any appointment but that was never an option until I call them out on dismissing me and discriminating against me and essentially refusing care. They then made an appointment with an attitude and hung up. I went back on through the portal and cancelled my appointment as its very clear they only take certain people as priority and by their tones and attitude that they are already pre judging me before I even can get an appointment and I know longer feel safe or comfortable going to this appointment. I attempted to reach out to the patient advocate SIX times over FOUR business days and they refused to call back even though their voicemail says they call within 1 business day. I filed a complaint through the VA and now have a case number but I am sure it will go no where. If you are a veteran seeking help, I highly suggest you go else where as you wont get the help you need here. Praying for the people like me who cant get the help they need. Good luck everyone."
"Friendly staff with great location for me. My VA doc has been fantastic with everything. Reasonable wait times for any medical facility."
"Been going here 7 years and no more. Haven't been fixed and have even gotten worse over the years. Mental Health put me on hold for a week because I wanted to change Dr's, and wouldn't transfer me till I spoke with them. I have bad mental issues lately and haven't seen a Dr in 2 years for it. I guess they figure what is another couple of weeks? 22 Veterans a day take they life because they can't get help from the VA. 22 people that have sacrificed some part of their life to make this nation what it is, and take their lives just because the VA blows them off. If I was worse off, I would've offed myself a while ago, so I can understand why my brother's and sister's are dropping."
