"This Medical office has a hoorible service ,im was going to be a new patient , im was waitin for my blood test order they never called me,they never answer the phone or retur the calls and they said to me the Dr saw your last year blood test and you dont need another blood test ,and sorry i fogot to call you ,what kind of answer was that please."

"I have been calling their office for several weeks. I'm suppose to get a call from a Cardiologist and another specialist no one has called me, it's been 3 weeks since my visit. Guess I need to reach out to UConn and see if they can help. Sterling is the worst.... I'm adding to my review because they need to be investigated by the department of public health. I have been trying for weeks to get a referral for my Neurologist so I can be seen. My health is declining and I need to figure out what's going on. Mean while they never sent any referral's for the specialist they recommended for me. Every time I call I'm suppose to get a call back from my LPN and nothing. This is unacceptable and need's to get addressed by the Department of Health."

"I was a patient at this office since high school, up until recently. I am recently a first time Mom, and received the absolute worst care when I needed it the most. Being a first time Mom with all of the questions and curiosity that comes with it, not to mention the anxiety, and to call and office and immediately be placed on hold for 20+ minutes or sent to voicemail EVERY. SINGLE. TIME is absolutely ridiculous. I called time after time leaving voicemails left and right (I even tried transferring myself to different doctors receptionists just to speak to SOMEONE) and still got voicemail/put on hold. One time I even called and spoke to the front desk because I was experiencing bleeding and spotting in my first few weeks where the risk for miscarriage is known to be higher and NO ONE EVER CALLED ME BACK!! I repeat, NO ONE… When I asked the Medical Assistant at my next appt why I hadn’t heard back, she said they have just been really busy. After that I had absolutely had it. I was FURIOUS. I cancelled all of my future appointments and had my records transferred over Uconn (who I HIGHLY recommend- they are AMAZING). When I spoke to the lady and told her to please cancel my appointments and that I would be going somewhere else she gave me the biggest attitude, and did not even ask what the reasoning was. All I got was “Ok all set.” I NEVER got a call from the doctor asking if it was something they did, or what was going on… nothing. (This was in May) Now we are in August, and today I received a call from the office, because the doctor just noticed she hasn’t seen me since May. I am APPALLED, but at the same time I’m not. I told the lady I am no longer a patient there and have not been for months, she replied with “Oh ok, the doctor was just concerned because it’s been months.” The lack of communication in this office is unreal, the customer care is unreal. They don’t care about you. They just want your money. I highly recommend NOT going here. Especially if you are pregnant."

"I have seen Dr. Sowa for over 20 years and he has been great and very thorough for all of that time. I had a difficult first pregnancy and he was very proactive and instrumental on me delivering a healthy baby and having a complication free second pregnancy. My 2 kids have also been with the Pediatrics department in Plainville for almost 20 years (as patients of Dr. Geddis, but they have also seen other doctors in the practice) and have been 100% satisfied. When my children were sick or had and urgent situation, they were always seen promptly, even on weekends. When there were concerns, they were listened to and addressed. Can’t say enough good about the doctors we have seen at the Plainville offices."
