"In my role as a BCBA, I have encountered significant challenges within this company. The caseload management system is unmanageable, with decisions about adding clients to one's caseload being imposed rather than negotiated. Pushback against this practice, citing concerns about burnout and the need for ethical supervision, is met with being terminated. The lack of organizational structure contributes to a toxic work environment, requiring employees, including both BCBA and RBT positions, to extend their working hours beyond the standard 40 due to a salaried compensation model. Even individuals from whom I sought guidance within the company have either been terminated or compelled to leave. The overall workplace culture is toxic and unhealthy, a sentiment echoed from my experience as both an RBT and a BCBA. The company employs contractual obligations to exert control, and the use of "at-will basis" as a fear tactic for their employees. The challenges of the position extend to scheduling demands, the strain of managing a high caseload for BCBA's, direct client expectations, inadequate compensation, and infrequent raises. The overarching focus on financial considerations has overshadowed any potential improvements of the company."

"Unbelievably shameful organization. It’s one thing to not accept children of armed service members covered by TriCare. It’s another to decide to drop all current patients covered by TriCare—patients who are children on the spectrum. Unfortunately, that’s exactly what this organization did to my child. The current waiting list for ABA anywhere is far longer than the 4 months notice my family was given of this decision. We had enough pride to cut ties with this organization immediately, and we’ll find the services our child needs—No thanks to Innovative Autism Services."
