"I had an excellent experience at Middlesex Marlborough ED. My pet scratched my eye trying to wake me up.I was concerned my eye might become infected. Everyone was very professional from the Front desk, Triage RN, other Staff and the physician Dr. Caffyn MD. They treated me gave me antiobiotics P.O. and ophthalmic ung. I was able to be discharged with after visit summary in a little over a hour. I was so thankful to this ED for being there for me! I would not hesitate to use Middlesex Marlborough ED again!"

"The night shift is absolutely amazing. Not just because they are personable, but they make no assumptions, are caring, and don't judge. The day shift, however...we weren't invited very well and only speaking for a few keep in mind! We were initially belittled, and remarks were made that were very passive aggressive. I think it was more the non medical staff people. Good note: There is one RN in the day shift that is nice and she was very thoughtful. Her name is Emily. Super nice so, know that not everyone was awful verbally. She came in to give my daughter a blanket and I could feel how caring she is. Thank you for her, it's been a long week of surgeries and no sleep so she was awesome. Eric, the physician assistant is awesome too, very nice and made some funny jokes to make her feel better :) overall it wasn't bad at all."

"I don't know who is reading Google reviews to shop around for ERs but here it goes... This place is super slow all the time. I'm sure they're good for life threatening emergencies taken by ambulance. Otherwise, you'll be sitting in pain for several hours while you wait. If it's not busy, it's two hours. You get rushed through initial triage assessment and then wait. Quick triage is a good thing though. Doctors are great though. Most of the nurses seem not helpful. But you'll get billed like you were at a level 1 trauma center"

"This last visit resulted in my waiting 4 hours tobe seen even though i was the only one in the waiting room. The doctor said that I did not have an emergency znd should go to urgent care. Urgent care sent me to ER. For many years I have received excellent care at Middlesex ER in Marlborough. However, the last two visits the doctor was very rude and condescending and did nothing for me. I had severe pain in foot going on for 10 days and the so called DO doctor said she didn't see anything. She also refused to order urine test. I had to debate with the nurse. Finally it was done and it was positive for a uti. She prescribed the wrong antibiotics an did not bother to review my previous medical history. This was third antibiotic."
