"CRAZY behavioral modification program oriented around strict patient enforced punishments and humiliation tactics. This particular branch had around 130 adult patients (~100 male and 30 female) with a separate in house youth program (Alpha House) as well housing around 30-35 patients (~25 boys and 10 girls). In around 2001 the program moved to Bridgeport slowly becoming less and less strict and militant. It was renamed the Apt Foundation and today bares no resemblance to the earlier 80's and 90's version of the program. As a past patient of the Alpha House program during 1999 and 2000 I can attest to the strange and humiliating practices that were enforced by my fellow patients under instructions via from staff."
