"Terrible! Can't seem to put referrals in place. Over two months I've been waiting for a referral. They don't answer their phone. You wait through 9 callers to speak to someone in person and then they make you record a request. You're lucky if you get a call back. They don't call the pharmacy to refill important prescriptions. It's usually a battle just to get a script filled. It's a mess in every way."
"I've been going to Huntington for almost 20 years, and they are fantastic. Yes, some of the staff is a little off. However, I have never had any problems except when they switched systems. But I was not the only one. They had to learn the new system too. So thank you for all you guys do."
"I have been a patient at the Huntington office for over 12 years, I really like my provider but the staff is beyond horrible. I have been requesting a referral for a scan that I am supposed to have yearly, it's been months and still no referral even though I kept requesting and requesting. I finally tried to make an appointment to be seen in hopes of being able to finally get the referral that way but no one answers the front desk phone. It just rings & rings & I get a message that says the party is unavailable. The mychart patient portal is not allowing patients to request an appointment that way either. I am beyond frustrated. I have no idea what you are supposed to do if you or your child is sick & in need of care."
"This place is unprofessional and useless as health care providers. I had a bill and wasnt getting the bills. They couldnt even pick up the phone once to call me about the bill. Which if they actually called me and told me i would of paid it, considering i pay all bills ontime. Instead they sent it to a collection agency and it hit my credit which i didnt have one bad mark. When i called and asked them, they said they were short handed. So sense they are short handed and cant do there job properly, i get penalized. That is the most unprofession and unbuisness like excuse i have ever heard. Absolutely the worst stay away."
"I have to say first that dentist we saw was excellent, both my children & I had an wonderful experience. However, the staff is highly unprofessional. Be aware that YOU must call THEM to confirm your appointment, they will not tell you this. My son missed a very important school opportunity for no reason due to the cancelation. I was given to voicemail when I called to take issue with their policy (after confirming my appointment, that was scheduled for the next business day). They couldn't be bothered to return that call. I went to my appointment & again they cancelled, saying they left me a message earlier that morning, (nothing about my complaint in the message). I understand No Shows cost money, but most businesses will issue penalties after you have proven to be unreliable. They are the unreliable ones, I was ready for both my appointments & received neither with less then a days notice on each. When I expressed distaste for the policy as it favors their needs above the patient, they were both rude and short tempered with me. I will not be going back. I'm sorry for anyone who is forced through insurance to deal with them, if you have a choice... Go anywhere else."
