"As a healthcare provider myself, I am shocked at the “care” I received from this provider. Not only was he egregiously late to every appointment, he made no effort to remember any details of my case. He kept referring to “my friend” when clearly on my assessments I indicated that my partner filled out the observer forms. In my session, I was told by him that insurance would cover my assessments. They did not, and I was left with an almost $1500 bill, which I arranged to pay in monthly installments due to its unexpected nature. Because the christmas season was hectic, I was several days late with the december payment. However, on the 18th, which is the date I arranged to pay each month, I received a nice letter in the mail stating that “multiple attempts to contact me were uneventful,” and if my account wasn’t paid in full by christmas, it would be sent to collections. He/his office also never bothered to forward my test results to a current provider as requested. Stay as far away from this practice as you can. Nothing in my life is better for having gone. It is clear now from seeing his 1-3 star reviews online that I should have steered clear, but I was desperately trying to get help."

"Dr. Katz has been extremely helpful! His office is easy to work with, and he has been very responsive and supportive throughout the last two+ years as his patient. Between regularly scheduled appointments and as-needed requests, I have had a great experience."

"Update 10/4/23: while initial meetings were somewhat helpful, the processes of appointment scheduling and Rx refill are, as far as I can tell, by phone only: appointments during business hours only (no voicemail) and Rx only via voicemail message with no follow-up; you just have to wait and hope the refill goes through. In 2023, especially for patients with ADHD, these are not conducive platforms for communication or follow through, especially for people who may be busy during the work day. I will likely be seeking out alternative treatment options absent some change to procedures. - - - I've had great meetings working with Dr. Katz in managing issues in my life. It's been a helpful and reflective experience!"

"I have been seeing Dr. Katz for at least 7 years and he still has no clue who I am and never remembers anything about my situation, even when I just spoke to him recently. He is NEVER available and is no longer in CT so he only does telemed appointments and if you need something, even if it's an emergency, his receptionist who rarely actually answers, sends him an email and then you just have to wait for him to call, if he calls at all. He screws up my prescription almost every month and then has a policy of taking up to 72 hours to correct it. Not ideal when you have no meds. To top all of this off, he is completely RUDE and unfriendly. His ratings on other medical sites are unbelievably bad. It's incredible that he still has a license to practice!! STAY AWAY!"

"Dr. Katz attentiveness to me as a patient has outstanding. His ability to identify and assist in resolution in my focus related issues has been a true blessing. It is comparable to a blind person seeing for the first time as I had gone years without identifying and resolving my issues that really kept me behind in my studies. Luckily I began to work with Dr. Katz at a point that I was able to fully invest myself into my studies and career. As someone who struggled for years in school, I realized the only mistake I made was not getting the support and assistance that I needed sooner. I would certainly recommend Dr. Katz to anyone who appreciates a comfortable and caring environment as well as results to match."
