"Front desk was pleasant to sign in with. Sign in was quick and we were taken right away. But, the ultrasound technician we had was not friendly, did not explain anything that she was doing with our daughter as she was doing it. She was very judgemental and did not seem to like to work with babies/children. She expected our two month old child to not move and stay still to make her job easier all while not assisting in helping make our daughter comfortable during her ultrasound. She did not talk the entire time she was doing the ultrasound to make us comfortable or feel at ease."

"From the moment we walked in the team members here ensured a quick, thorough, and excellent experience during a really tough day. Janis at the desk and in x-ray was so easy to talk to. Gabe saw us almost right away and engaged with me and my child effortlessly. The physician Kim came in with results with no wait time and gave us solutions for the current issue at hand as well as suggested preventative care for the future. The team here seemed to have a great respect for each other and their patients. "We’ve been coming to CCMC in Danbury for 4 + years due to our child’s ongoing medical need. The nephrology team and staff have been consistently wonderful. Scheduling is easy and the staff also calls back whenever we have a question, including our Nephrologist (Dr. Matloff). For anyone with a child who has a disease or chronic illness I highly recommend this facility. One of the main things we look for in a provider is someone who will partner with us in the care of our child and listen to our questions and/or concerns. This team has proven to do just that. They are part of our family now and the genuine care they provide is the reason our child is thriving today."

"We were referred from our pediatrician to see a pediatric orthopedist here, she said they take walk-ins so we went right from that visit. It was our first time here, registration was quick and friendly. Wait time was much less than expected (only about 10 minutes). Our nurse was Gabe and he made my 2 year old son feel safe and comfortable, he was so kind. Then Kim, the Orthopedist PA, came just a few minutes later. My son also loved her! She was great. Gave us our diagnosis with some literature to review and sent out for our referral to the pediatric orthopedic surgeon. I didn’t know what to expect going in here, but was pleasantly surprised! "We called Connecticut Children's Specialty Care Center in Danbury to seek a neurology second opinion which was time sensitive in nature. The administrative staff had our son scheduled and in the office on the same day. Crystal was friendly, compassionate and efficient, and had our son hooked up for a 24 hour EEG. She also followed through on helping us get medical records requests filed. Dr. Yorns is an incredible doctor and neurologist. He is a great listener, he is thoughtful and thorough. His communication with us on follow-up questions has been fantastic and he has sought out other specialists to assist in the care of our son. This is a very well run office with friendly, professional, caring and very competent staff. We travel an hour to get to this office and it is well worth it."
