"I had a 2:20 appointment but finished my previous appointment early so I checked in early at Quest about 1:20 pm. No one was there. My name and appointment time appeared on the board, the only name up there. About five minutes later I helped a lady check in as she wasn’t understanding what to do as there aren’t any humans present anymore to help patients check in. So a few minutes later they call her in. She leaves shortly after. Let’s get real, it only takes like five minutes to draw blood, label the tubes and pay. So I could hear the girls laughing and joking around in the back. A few minutes later a gentleman checks in and a few minutes later they call him in and I say excuse me but are you going to make me wait until my appointment time at 2:20 and the lab technician says yeah, if that’s your appointment time then that’s probably when we’ll get to you. Yet, let’s think about this…had I checked in as a walk in then I would have been seen way before 2:20! I just walked out, will go back another day. Poor service when you can hear staff wasting time between patients and making someone wait until a scheduled time. Note to the public…if you’re early for your appointment check in as a walk in!"
"I thought I had made an appointment for this morning, but unfortunately I didn't get a confirmation # so it hadn' gone through. I tried calling and went online, but no human to talk to. So I got ready and went there in case It had gone through. It hadn't but worker helped me to check appt openings. He got me in for 12:30 and I waited there til They could take me in. So anyone NOT GETTING A CONFIRMATION # ... you DO NOT have an appointment. Retry. Don't bother trying to call...there is no human to help you."
"I went to the lab in willimantic as a walk in, tried to enter my info and it said that they was told they had no appts left. I knocked on the door and two lab workers were sitting in a room and I was told to go to the lab in Mansfield. I was the only person there and asked if one of them could take my blood and was told no. I raced to Mansfield and got there with three minutes to spare They said that they had over 100 patients sent to them from willimantic. They did my lab work and said that my blood would have to sit for 15 minutes, so they would be there for at least 30 minutes past close. I told them there was. no one in the other office and two workers were doing nothing. Will not go back to Willi because they are obviously lazy and do not care about the patients. Poor work ethic they have."
"I am a lifelong blood-draw wuss despite my veins being giant pipelines, so I was dreading this blood draw...but my experience here was so positive that i was truly excited by the time I left. The staff at this location were genuinely friendly and relaxed, they kept me chatting so that I barely knew it was happening, and the whole process was professional, painless, and quick. I arrived & signed in about five minutes early, and I think i was called in about three minutes later. From now on, I only want to get my blood drawn here! The only thing I'd change is their phone system, it's an atrocity, but that's not on the staff or location, that just Quest Diagnostics not wanting to pay a human to answer their phones. That auto-voicemail system WILL hang up on you. Probably every time."
"Terrible no one behind the counter, checked in via computer tablet up front. Sat for one hour was the last one there at 5pm and the lady comes out looks at my form and says we dont do those here. You have to go to the Quest by Big Y. If they had someone up front I would not have sat in that place that long. I left dumber than when I entered lol."
