"I think this place is nice! Although the kids there aren't my cousin was just going on the slides and some kid started cursing at him, I know this has nothing to do with the park but parent's should really take better care of their parent's there is just way to much profanity and bad things, But the park itself is great with hiking trails and a playground, Below the playground there is a turf field to play soccer and football."
"There are multiple entrances to this park, but a nice short walk, and you'll find everything. The playground is great for toddlers and kids up to about 12 years old. There's swings for infants, toddlers and older kids. There is a sand pit with digger type things, like a construction workers digger. There are bathrooms. There's a basketball court, and tennis court. There's parking a few feet away, and around certain areas. There's also a track, and a river where people fish. There's seating areas. I love it. LOTS of forest area. Always go with my kids to the water and we look for frogs, turtles, tadpoles, fish. It's always quiet too, even when there's kids at the playground."
"Overall it was a nice first visit to the park. Beautiful, nice area with picnic tables, and seemingly many tails. However, I really wish there was a better trail map online or that the trails were marked better. We were worried about getting lost so sort of skirted the parking lot."
"This is a well designed, lovely park adjacent to the Peekskill High School athletic complex. There are intersecting hiking or strolling trails. We are mobility challenged, but found it easy to walk on the wide trail around the lake. There are a couple of slight grades, but these were short and could be negotiated in a wheelchair, though wide wheels are recommended. Some spots have rocks or tree roots sticking out, but there are usually smooth detours around the rough spots. Smooth-topped boulders or wooden benches are along the trails should you need a rest or just want to enjoy the view. For the more energetic, there are steeper trails winding through the woods. The park is well lit, and there are tennis and basketball courts. Fishing is permitted in the lake. I've walked the dog at midnight. It was lit, there were other dog walkers, there were guys playing basketball under the lights, and a leisurely cop car rolled through. It's a local gem."
