"Beautiful lake, enjoyed the apple fritters I got nearby on the dock before taking a nice little hike through the woods around the lake. The trail did get a little muddy, so make sure wear the right shoes!"
"Tonight we did a nice Sunset hike up to the top and completed a loop and went around the lake counterclockwise. The total length in timing was about 2 hours. It's definitely a beautiful spot to check out the sunsets. It's definitely a popular spot where people go to watch them. There is different trails to choose from one you iCare you will see different paths that you are able to take. It's definitely a moderate hike but mostly on the easier side of it. Also the leak is very beautiful for fishing there is also a picnic bench here and people do kayak."
"Crescent Lake is a great place to mountain bike once you get away from the hikers, dog walkers, and rock climbing folks at the beginning of the trail near the only parking lot. It’s advisable to get there early on the weekends during great weather or you won’t find a parking spot guarantee. We ended up riding 13 miles in a loop and only saw two other riders. New Britain Water has property adjacent to Crescent Lake so be careful hiking and biking there. 5 Stars because it’s Nature!"
"Great spot during this time of year if you enjoy nature. The trail around the lake is mostly level terrain, makes for an easy walk with pets or kids (probably not a stroller). Easy access for kayaks if you're into that. The drive up is also relaxing, with nice winding roads and beautiful scenery."
