Reviews
"Beautiful place. I just stopped visiting when we saw a Coyote there. It was less than 30 feet from us by the time we noticed it. I guess it makes sense, this is probably a nice place for a Coyote, Bob-cat etc to find a meal. If that doesn't make you nervous, it really is a beautiful place ."
"This is a nice place to go to hike, and fish. There's not much that I've seen for picnicking. The trails could be kept up better. It would be a huge improvement to have board walks over muddy marshy places. As it is, it is very tricky to get through these spots. I think of another small lake near Waterbury that has a trail. It's a great example of what I am talking about."
"Its a small park not alot to see unless you hike the trails. My home is 1mile over the mountain. There ARE bear, coyote, fox, deer, rabbit, squirrels, groundhogs, chipmunk and some have spotted a Bobcat. We saw the bear just 2 days ago crossing past our back yard. No cubs. Hunters stay out!"
"For a small state park, it's well-kept, scenic, well-marked trails. It would've been nice"
"Nice place to hang out by the lake, or take a walk through the woods. Blue-orange offers a moderately challenging hike option with a great viewpoint!"
