"Picnic tables at the beginning, and approx. 1.2 mile loop trail with 1 overlook. Another picnic table at the overlook"
"very short hike not well maintained the white trail was decent to follow. blue trail is a mess hard to follow and the red looked like its not even used so i wouldn't attempt it with all the leaves and blazes so faded away"
"A wooded, hilly park with beautiful rock formations in downtown Bethel. Perfect for local residents to take their lunch to the picnic tables or add onto their daily walk. Less than a half mile from Greenwood Ave. Well marked trails, picnic tables and benches in various areas. No services - carry in, carry out."
"Nice, but short walk near downtown Bethel. Trails have some interesting rock formations - a lot of elevation changes for the distance. Nice place to picnic by the parking lot, or hike up to lookout over the nearby hills."
"Park below and walk up short road to clearing, take upper loop trail for excellent short walk through dense mountain laurel stand. There's a fair number of small forest wildflowers including ladyslippers. What you see will depend entirely on when you visit. Very end of upper loop will drop down into a draw that has great ice falls in winter as water seeps out of the rock face. Lower trail is through mostly flat beech forest with little undergrowth due to the abundance of deer. Not as interesting botanically but nice spot for walking with dog. Its a fairly small park so is a great little hike on a lunch hour. Within walking distance of downtown core of Bethel. Has campsites available for tent camping, picnic benches, and firepits."
