"Took my kid the Meckauer Park on is day off from school and he enjoyed the play ground the sand box the walk around the pond. Nice park to bring the family and enjoy nature. They have a big kid and little kid playground, which is nice, so there is something for all kids."
"Lovely community park.Well maintained w/walking path and pond. See art installation from 6/23-9/23"
"I absolutely Love bringing my daughter to Meckauer Park. She asks to go every day after school. I love how they keep the girls room clean and not a wreqck like most playgrounds, and how they have a tarp to put over the sand box when it's not being used (which I think was a great idea with the pond right there, no goose poo in the sand box). They have a reading box where you can take the book home and bring it back or leave other books there. My 5 yr old checks the box every time we go. There is a basketball court, a fenced area for dogs"
"Trail is very pretty during october. No water fountains, restrooms or chairs for miles. Be ready for a nice ling pleasant semi flat walk or s nice bike ride."
"What a beautiful park. It’s just the right size in that it’s manageable yet has a little of everything. Playground Picnic area Hiking trails Dog park Geocache (which I found) Friendly people! You can even rent an area here for hosting parties which we will definitely be doing! There’s a beautiful bench donated in honor of Mike Thomas that shows for taking in the view while resting"
