"Although teachers are nice and the school is polished, that is where the lost of positives end. Oh, Kennedy Middle School, what are you doing? Children run rampant within the halls, and higher powers restrict many freedoms upon the poor students. It’s a real mess in there, and there need to be changes as to what students may do. In some times, they haven’t even been able to bring their own water bottles to school, and instead be forced to drink water that tastes like metal if they ever wanted a drink. In addition to severe restraints on phones, music, and plenty of homework, it’s no wonder that they act out all of the time: they aren’t allowed to do ANYTHING. These are young teenagers, who cannot simply click a button and became straight-A students. They need to release their energy, whether that be via a text home or listening to a song. This is not to say that students should be making posts on social media in class, no. But simply, if the iron gauntlets were listened a bit and allowed more use for the objects during free time, JFK might actually be a decent school. In conclusion, if students were allowed more freedom during school, through the power of FUN and SUPPORT, then perhaps JFK wouldn’t be the 1-Star description given to it."
"Personally, if I were to pick I would pick Depaolo over Kennedy. They both have the same layout and programs, except that Depaolo has a better special education program. This could mean the world to many people, myself included. Don't get me wrong, this school is great. But Depaolo is a little more adaptive."
