"Everyone in an SUV is doing it wrong. Stop backing up and opening up your tailgate. Park your car towards the screen. Sit inside the old-fashioned way and enjoy the movie with your windows closed because the mosquitoes will eat you alive. Once we realized that it was a great time and I definitely go back week after week."
"I love that this old school drive-in still exists! During the summers, they show one movie every Saturday night. I have no idea how they pick the movie but most are kid friendly (not Halloween weekend). Each week a different non-profit helps do the ticket taking, parking, and concessions. Profit goes to the groups. Most weeks there are food trucks and kid games before the shows. Gates open at 6pm. They try to park you by car type so smaller cars aren't blocked. You're not supposed to leave the trunk open, so your best bet is a pickup truck with pillows or camp chairs and a blanket. Tune your car to 89.9 FM. It's $20 per car or $5 for up to 4 walk in people, cash only. Flush bathrooms are crowded, especially for the ladies. Portables are unreliable for cleanliness. Movies usually start about 10-20 minutes after sundown. They play a mix of old time ads and sponsor ads. It's something fun to do at least once a summer. They do sell snacks, usually until the movie starts. They ask that you don't have open flames (grills, etc), alcohol, or pot, for safety regulations. It's run mostly by volunteers."
"Great spot to host events! Especially Car shows from the muscle car era, we look forward to hosting more events in the future here. #Foxbody Club of CT"
"Went for the first time the other night. It was a good experience. Everyone practiced social distancing and stayed with their family/friends/group. I would go back again to see a movie. I took a few people to a Metallica screen concert. Wonderfully set up. Everyone felt same."
