Reviews
"Go here if you need shoes. One of the few positive retail experiences left, and they have a huge selection. The staff is crazy helpful and they actually know what they're talking about. So rare. My salesperson, Troy, was a joy. I'm really kind of surprised at some of the negative reviews. I've been a customer for years and it's always been great."
"Frank, the young man who spent A LOT of time helping us locate a pair of boots was absolutely amazing. His great attitude and willingness to assist us WITH a genuine smile helped us to make our purchase. If you want quality and exceptional customer service Alec's is the place to go. Thank you Frank for your patience and kindness."
"Huge store with lots of shoes! They helped me pick out what I needed quickly. The employees didn't wear badges, so it's sometimes hard to tell who they are! I haven't worn them enough to see exactly how they fit. It's also tucked in an odd place, be sure you know where you are going! GPS really helps. Plenty of free parking."
"I had high hopes for this place because they had every brand I have been looking at. Turns out, if you are younger, they aren’t interested in helping you. Several people came into the area after I was already standing there waiting to get my size in a shoe and they were helped before me. Finally someone came up and asked if I needed help or any recommendations. I told him what I was looking for, didn’t have a preferred brand but wanted a hiking shoe that was light and waterproof. His response was enough for me to walk out. And I quote “well I can’t work on that information so either give me some more or look around and find me when you have an idea” I was holding a shoe, and answered his questions. Clearly the few reviews about customer service being bad, that I brushed off, were true. Spend your money elsewhere and save some money."
