"Bought size 8 panties for my daughter who is wearing size 6. Got home and underwear won't stretch at all. Returned to exchange for a larger size and the manager told me NO, and by the way its just 6 dollars. Well its my money, I worked and for it. I told him I won't be returning to his store and he said ok whatever. Clothes may be affordable but somethings are of poor quality."
"Was walking in the store and stepped on a cloths nail, I told the manager and a worker and they brushed it off like it was nothing and said that it happens to them everyday.... The manager just offered me alcohol and a Band-Aid and that was all...."
"Closes before 8 so don’t play yourself. They lock the doors at 7:45."
"It's 7:35 on a Thursday and I decided to stop by since they close at 8.. YET I get there and the doors are locked with customers in it! That's DEF a bad business practice to me!"
"I gave this store one star only because their prices are very affordable ! Other than that I would have given it zero stars. I shopped here twice and both experiences was hurtful and degrading. My first time shopping here I was 6 months pregnant and brought tons of stuff for my girls. I spent nearly $300.00 ! When I took my items home, I notice I was missing half of the stuff I paid for. I immediately called the store and ask them if they could check their back storage for any left items, instead I was accused of lying and trying to rip the store off and was told I should have been paying attention. ... (that hurts). I wasn't rude at all, I just said "o.k fine" and hung up. A month later he called me to tell me he found a bag full of my items and he apologized over and over ! He told me to visit the store again and he'll give me a discount ! An apology goes a long way so I felt my business was appreciated. (Yesterday) which makes it 8 months later I decided to revisit the store with my kids, for some summer clothes. While at your store, I couldn't help noticing the many workers on the floor and some watching me and my girls intently. No smiles just glares and stares ! As I moved throughout the store there was eyes intently on me. I tried to ignore it but it felt so wrong ! I even pondered on walking out but I didn't want to bring it to my girls attention because they were so excited about their clothes and having fun. Now the women that was on the floor was very warm and friendly but the men made me feel like I was a criminal. Even when I was in line at the register the guys moved right where I was in the front. I was being watched the whole time ! I had no bags with me, no big pocket books so I don't understand, why?! While standing at the register I notice other women shopping but yet and still I felt like all eyes were on me. I'm a very positive person and tried to excuse the staff behavior. I even tried to understand his behavior. I understand that you have to watch your merchandise however NOT EVERYONE IS A CRIMINAL! I traveled from 2 towns over from Milford to Bridgeport just to shop at your store only to feel horrible again and yet I still spent a large amount of hard earned money at your store only to feel like a criminal. There have to be a better way to protect your store and still make every customer feel valued and safe. My advice to you is, yes guard your merchandise but try not to judge who's a criminal and who's not. Have eyes of compassion and love. I do forgive you but I will not be spending any more money there. Blessing to you and your family and may you never have to encounter judgmental opinions because of your race or any other reason. So glad God looks at the heart and not my outer shell. Blessings.- Words from a hard working mama"
