Reviews
"I dropped off items at the donation center at the Groton store, and the lady that helped me unload. All the items was just very kind and helpful. That is a true asset to the team because it’s so hard to find kind, caring, helpful people. She is a definite asset to the Groton in Store."
"I am not sure how Goodwill prices work but I went in and they charged me for the same vase at different prices. I usually don’t write bad reviews but this I cannot let go. Especially when they wouldn’t let me have my vase at the same price. They said if the same vase comes in and one is placed out a few days before the other one then they indeed charge a higher cost. They have about 10 out there and I happen to grab the most priced one with three other ones that were 1.99$. The manager was extremely rude and condensing. When she told me the reason I actually called her out because another worker told me the truth. She wanted to make sure she had a extremely good story. I know its a thrift store but this vase was nowhere near 3.99$. The profit they get from consumers is high but that they donate is not. Im disappointed that they do this. They hike the prices up on one item in hopes that the same item does not come through the pipeline. I hope everyone checks the prices even on multiple items cause you may find yourself with different prices for the same thing. My mistake! but it is just sad and distasteful that Goodwill makes profit by doubling the value of an item, knowing that they do not have to fix the price if the costumer catches on."
"I enjoy coming here a lot, I am disappointed to see the prices being raised. 13.00 for American Eagle jeans is just absurd. Stores like this should realize that they could and would sell 100% more if they actually lowered there prices. Don't get me wrong, you can absolutely score a solid deal or two here, you just need to visit often, and be prepared to spend a little while and look through the racks."
"Amazing customer service here. Manager is polite and understanding. A really clean facility for a a thrift store super clean. Always satisfied when I come to this location. They have by far the happiest cashiers that actually want to help you. I’ve made my share of large purchase from this store and have always left feeling like I was treated well unlike other locations. Worth the hour drive to me."
"Have been coming here for a while, overall it's pretty good. Prices are fair, good selection. Sometimes the lines can be pretty long, but other times there is almost no wait. They have a good rotating collection of electronics if you like that sort of thing. I just got a Logitech Z323 2.1 computer speaker system for 13 bucks. I also saw a Samsung monitor I donated listed for $12. If it doesn't work you can take it back within a day."
