"GREAT EXPERIENCE... Ricky, Tony, Jackie and Marcus made this a fantastic shopping day. Thank you so much for having them working there. A++++"
"It's been a while since I've been in this store since I moved out-of-state but It really hasn't changed. The only thing I would say is that it continues to get more expensive. there is one bright spot though, and she helps at check outs.. she's always friendly and upbeat and going out of her way. She's amazing and I don't even know her name."
"Love the pharmacy department. Every other employee & manager are rude and stuck up. They will be a large Dollar General one day. Mark my words. Don't get hurt there or say anything negative about them. They will throw you out. Been there done that."
"I was truly hoping to never have to give the many hard working employees of the North Haven, Ct. store a Ham Sandwich, but after my encounter this morning, Friday 9/8/2023 with several individuals in the Bakery Department, the need to escalate this is for the store’s own good! I buy bran muffins there twice a week, when they are in the already packaged 4 pack or I pick my own own from the display case ( only when there are none prepackaged) and then ask bakery personnel for a price sticker! Everything was running like Rolex until this morning! When I asked the gentleman ( for lack of a better word ) for a price tag! He abruptly told me that can no longer be done and I have to buy the 4 muffins at the individual price of $ 2.99, bringing the total to $ 11.96 for 4 as opposed to the standard $ 6.49! I foolishly appealed to his lack of common sense and authority, asking who in their Right Mind would pay double when it’s the Bakery’s fault for not having pre- packaged Bran Muffins now almost on a regular basis! A woman from the same Department then came over and went through the 20 + prepackaged 4 packs to see if in fact I was telling the truth! Which I was! I then saw the Store Manager and explained both how miserable the male employee in the Bakery is and how ridiculous and unfair the policy ( if one does even exist ) forcing Customers and Senior Citizens at that to pay double because of their Incompetence in not knowing what to stock pre-packaged! In short, Stop and Shop muffins are a convenience, not a delicacy such as Whitney Donuts’ Muffins or Neil’s! Which are worth $ 3.50 each! Has Upper Management gotten that Greedy and Stupid that they make these horrific policies that have the net effect of punishing their customers further financially! I have been a loyal customer for over 40 years, but no employee will ever speak to me in the tone that Clown did! I have no problem taking my business elsewhere! Get your House in order Stop and Shop or you will be boarding up stores next! Plenty of small markets out there that know how to treat their customers with dignity and respect! Please contact me, as I would like to discuss this lack of Common Sense and Poor Leadership further! I know a few things about Customer Service and the Pitfalls of Knee Jerk Impulsive Decision making!"
"Again, incredibly disappointed. This is my first review but there have been SEVERAL poor experiences. I bought 1.45 lbs of “choice” angus beef loin. $13.99 a pound. A total of $20.29. I cut off 6 ounces (approx 23% of the weight!!!) of inedible gristle. Buy anything from this store with caution. So angry."
