"Best French Onion Soup I've ever had! Also, the Lobster Risotto was delicious. Came here on a long weekend trip and this place sounded great and definitely lived up to expectations. Even with all the food options this area has to offer, would definitely come back again!"
"Absolutely wonderful food! Had a great time at the cozy restaurant, the vibes were immaculate and homely. 10/10 would recommend and would come again next time!"
"Came here because I was craving French onion soup and was told this restaurant is known for it. We came in around 8pm on a Wednesday night and were able to get seated without a reservation. The French onion soup was great and so were the service and vibe of this place. I will be back for more soup :)"
"The front of this restaurant has a very pleasant and relaxing appearance (see my photo). I was made aware that head chefs, generally speaking, are often off on Sundays and Mondays at many restaurants. After reading the reviews on this sight about the onion soup here, I had to try it this Monday, despite my stated knowledge about off days. The onion soup had virtually no onion taste, I sent it back. I ordered the lamb shank ($43) as my main course. It was very large but had a lot of fat that I cut off easily. It came with a nice tasting brown sauce and a choice of risotto or mashed potatoes. The lamb shank was tender and had a nice taste."
"The place is charming, service on point, the duck and lamb chops well prepared and tasty and the creme brulee was good. Wish I could give it 5 stars but need to deduct 1 star for the sides. While the duck and lamb were amazing, the sides were pedestrian and simple, lacking any flavor. Not knocking green beans and mash potatoes, but when I can make better tasting versions at home, then something is not right. Same for the wild rice, it was good but had better. And while sides will never be the star, they should contribute, not take away, from the dining experience. I love french food but the lack of flavor on the sides, difficult to ignore. I sincerely hope mgmt takes this as a constructive comment to make sure every plate of food is 100% amazing...even the sides."
