"It was my first meal in NYC, and the food was very good! Pad thai was a bit sweet for me, but still was very delicious with the shrimp. I loved the panang curry, highly recommended. The service was nice, and the place is pretty."
"Unacceptable portions for lunch specials. I was given what is basically a half portion by any standard of Thai takeout in NYC. Underseasoned, lacking in any distinct flavor, didn't even come with a lime. Very disappointing place."
"Came with a group of friends for dinner and it was my first time coming to this restaurant. I order an appetizer chicken gyoza and Chicken Pad Thai were good. The service was a little slow and it wasn’t too busy when were there."
"Par for the course for a Thai restaurant with a good selection of the typical favorites at reasonable prices (ie, chicken pad Thai for $12.99). My family and I went there on a Wednesday night around 8p and there were no other diners at the time. Lots of take out it appears. Service was descent. The Indian restaurant next door, on the other hand, was packed at the same time. Note for a family of 3, they charged a mandatory 18% gratuity. I’m all for giving a gratuity but when you aren’t informed of it and it’s mandatory, then it’s not really a gratuity and more of an additional service fee. For the items below and a couple of appetizers, total bill ran us about $ 75 for 3. Area around the restaurant appeared safe to walk around."
"We had 7:30 reservation but at least for Saturday it was still pretty open. The kitchen was very busy with pickup orders and their phone continued to ring. They must be popular. People started to show up by 8:00PM. We ordered Tom Yum shrimp soup along with Penang Curry with chicken and pad Thai chicken. Service was quick but server was doing everything including taking phone orders plus serving internal customers. She was very efficient but appeared a little rushed up. It could be some difference in preparation but Tom Yum soup but didn’t had the same bite we are used to. I would recommend this place. It is right on Amsterdam."
