"The staff is just amazing. They treat the dogs with that special added touch. The dogs roam free before and after the grooming. Michelle and the staff go nuts when I bring in my four beasts (3 huskies and Pit mix) The whole staff looks forward to what mischief my dogs can get into. The level of experience you get here is nothing like the big box places that have interns or first time groomers. Try them, you have nothing to loose!"
"I don't typically leave reviews but disappointed to say that we'll no longer be using B&B's as our groomer. In hindsight I think we stayed for Chey because she's very personable and attentive, but it just isn't enough. Two or three times previously we picked our pup up to find knicks on his stomach area. They scabbed over and healed well, so we didnt fuss over it because we're not difficult people and we understand that younger pups can be antsy, but this time was not okay. He was knicked again, and his nail was also cut so short that he bled over both of us and the car. Our vet has great tech so we gave them a call to ask about the situation and they were just as upset if not more. The thing is, cutting nails too short can happen, but no accountability was taken for it. I had to call to confront and ask for quickstop to stop the bleeding. Thankfully putting pressure on it in the meantime helped a lot. They said they saw no blood, but his paw was red from it dripping and visibly got on us. When you cut through those nerves, it hurts and dogs will let you know that audibly and or visually. It was bleeding consistently when we got him, so, it seems odd that it wasnt taken care of given those two factors. To say that "he doesn't like his nails cut" and you didn't see it, is not taking accountability. It's okay not to cut them if it's too difficult. We wouldn't have batted an eyelash if they just communicated that it was a struggle prior. I'd rather do it on my own than risk an incident like this. It was shocking to see blood coming from his nail like that and really put us off. How did you not see it when we saw it almost immediately. Below is a picture of my partners shirt. He has some on his sleeves as well but we were too panicked to take more pictures of everything."
"Everyone on the staff was wonderful. The dogs all looked happy and like they were having fun. My dog seemed to have a great time. She was happy when I picked her up, and they did an amazing job with her. She looked beautiful and trimmed up nicely in all the right spots. Who knew there was a thin dog under all that fur? She came home with a super cute bandana on, and she smells fantastic too. Now that we've found Bow's and Bandana's, we won't be taking our pup anywhere else. We loved it!"
"Bow's and Bandana's is the absolute best! They've been taking great care of our fur child since she was a wee pup."
"These guys are amazing. We took our puppy in for a nail trimming and the employee that helped us was so sweet. I was worried since this was our puppy’s first appointment of this kind, but everything went perfectly. Our pup was in and out quickly, and the price wasn’t bad at all. My boyfriends mother has been going to them for 14 years now and we decided to try them out as well. The owner was there and she was also very nice and sweet to our puppy. Both the young girl who helped us and the owner were very loving towards our puppy, which is important when sending your pet to a groomer who will be handling your animal. I saw a dog come out of the salon looking amazing. It was a standard poodle with the perfect show cut. I used to own standards and know what the cut should look like. From what I saw all the customers were leaving happily with their animals. There seems to be an element of trust between the local customers and this business. It’s pretty clear that they have a faithful customer base that they’ve maintained for quite some time, and have a great reputation. They probably attract new customers by word of mouth, which is all they need, and probably the reason why they don’t have an obnoxious looking place. It’s honestly kind of hidden, like a secret the locals are keeping from the outsiders! I don’t blame them. A note to anyone who does go: the location can be hard to find. The place is very tiny and can be difficult to find if you’ve never been there. It’s located behind another business at the end of a large parking lot, which turns into a dirt lot the further back you go. The lot is wide open once you get back there, and the salon is located on a small hill, so it will probably catch your eye. however, it definitely does not look like a dog groomer. It’s very tiny and intimate, which was something different from what I’ve experienced with commercial groomers. The sign is pretty small so you probably won’t see it until you get closer. I would’ve never known it was there if it wasn’t for the GPS. The turn does come up quickly (we missed it on the first try)."
