"My sweet cat, who is a rescue from St Thomas, needed to have oral surgery. Needless to say I was very concerned as the surgery requires anesthesia in addition to the tooth extraction itself. It was my first experience with a pet having surgery of any kind. Everything went well and my cat didn’t exhibit any issues after surgery. I was very relieved and so happy we were at Farmington Animal Hospital. They were fantastic."
"I have never left a bad review, but it's coming up on a year that my dog almost died due to their negligence. I don't want anyone to experience what I did and lose their loved one. I spent thousands of dollars on testing for my dogs heart only for them to tell me she's fine and doesn't need a pace maker. A few months later she fell Ill so I brought her to the Farmington Animal Hospital absolutely devastated and desperate. They tested her for Lymes, told me she doesn't have it and my options are either go home and think about putting her down, or I can go to the emergency clinic. Obviously I chose to fight. I wanted an actual diagnosis before I give up on my little girl. I can't believe they even suggested that. They called a few emergency clinics on my behalf and all of them said they had no vacancy but they sent me to piper memorial anyway. They told me that piper would take me even though FAH knew they couldn't ......my dog sat in a crate for 12 hours with no care because again, they had no vacancy. Why couldn't Farmington Animal HOSPITAL admit her? I picked my sweetheart up from pipers at 4 am after she received no care. I called Farmington animal hospital as soon as they opened. They told me they would have a vet reach out and they didn't. My dog is dying in my arms and I couldn't get a call back, after spending THOUSANDS at that vet. They even had the audacity to charge me $70 for a phone call to "decipher" results of a $500 echocardiogram. Lol anyway, I was so insanely lucky to find another vet. They admitted my baby immediately as they IMMEDIATELY discovered she had a heart infection from her heart murmur. The same heart murmur that FAH said was "fine" and prescribed her nothing. My new vet, admitted her immediately. How did Farmington animal hospital charge me thousands of dollars to test her heart but couldn't get me a diagnosis or prescribe my pup meds, but my new vet only charged me a few hundred to not only diagnose her, but admit her for four days over a weekend?! She is on now meds twice a day for her murmur and she is flourishing. She celebrated 15 years in December. No thanks to this place. Not only that but Shelby is deplorable. That woman scoffed at me when my dog needed dental surgery. She said "she should have gotten these taken out years ago". Which is quite ironic, because my dog did in fact undergo tooth extraction. Just a year and a half prior, at none other than, Farmington animal hospital. Who I had been going to for years. Shelby, are you saying you didn't do a good job? I keep all her records. Every single receipt. I have the documents where you charged me thousands to remove her teeth. The very next month you told me she had an infection, I scheduled it. Don't you DARE accuse me of being a neglectful parent. Shelby also told me that the food I was feeding my dog was causing her kidney issues. I cried myself to sleep when she said that because I genuinely thought I was hurting my baby. Turns out, my dogs periodontal disease is causing her kidney issues. The disease that you performed surgery on. TWICE. You should have seen my new vets face when I told him she had gotten two surgeries. I gave them a chance September 2022 and I emailed them my concerns and they responded by simply removing me from their mailing list. If you care about your pet, don't go here. I thought I was paying top dollar for top care, but I was just feeding their greed while my sweet baby angel suffered."
"It took me over 2 months to book an appointment for my dog and they charged me $40 for a “no show”….. Was 15 minutes late and they refused to see us AND refused to refund me my $40 even though I showed and THEY refused to see me Find a better vet to bring your pet to, the staff was condescending and unhelpful….not worth your time and money! Update: Still haven’t received my deposit back….no follow up as promised after a week."
"They are lovely with our cat Gus and treat him and us very well! I have an anxious disposition and they always let me call and ask questions and respond with kindness. Gus loves them too (: their back rooms have a view of some birdfeeders too which seemed like a 10/5 star rating to Gus."
"Dr. Dan and his staff are simply amazing! 10/10 would highly recommend this vet for your furry child! We brought our baby girl Daisy when we just bought her and we love it! She just got home from getting spayed and they were so informative and caring to her during this weird time for her!"
