"Had a fantastic time at Old Sturbridge Village! It was absolutely beautiful all decorated for the season. Dress warmly for the Christmas Lights celebrations! It's cold but it makes it all the whole better when you slip into a house and look at all of the items and listen to the historians talk about what they really love. Will visit again!"
"Loved it, a trip through history there’s so much more potential for this village, not advertised properly like have more items customized with village names and the chance to sell the products made at the village as well, like a notebook made as a print house and such. All in all I love the experience. Staff on board are very knowledgeable and very kind and answer all kind of questions. Very patient was children."
"Phenomenal experience. This was my family’s first time at this fun Halloween event at Sturbridge Village and we loved it! From the historical village, living exhibits, fun and willing to play along staff, we had a great time. Our 3rd grader especially enjoyed the ghost stores by the fire. The gentleman that entertained the audience with the spooky but not too scary stories was an excellent storyteller. We enjoyed the popcorn and cookies at the concession stand and the many different shows to attend throughout the evening."
"Great place to visit, arrived around 11 a.m was there for about 4 hours. No long queues, so we were able to walk around leisurely. Lots of great places to take photo's. On entering you receive a timetable of various activities taking place throughout the day.. Like basket/chair weaving, blacksmith, silversmiths and carpentry demonstrations.! etc All attractions give historic information regarding to the buildings. I Would highly recommend.!"
"Excellent! My 7 year old son and I had an amazing time. Great for all ages. Hands on for kids...and kids and heart. The costumed reactors are everywhere and give really interesting information. The grounds are beautiful, and the town is actually pretty big. It's like stepping back in time. In fact, I told my son we were going to be taking a time machine back in time to 1835. He was very into it, and wants to return for Halloween and Christmas."
