"Burrito was ok.. had the pulled pork. What threw me off was they used a sweet sauce for the pork. I. Used to savory when it comes to my burrito. Perhaps not authentic as the taste was off, but also, they played mostly Caribbean music. Not Mexican music."
"Very nice food and it will fill you up for sure. I am a big eater and I couldn't finish it. The best family style and relaxing restaurant."
"Been coming here since I was a kid. I sure do miss the pool table! Food is great here. Great place to stop after a round of golf!"
"Live 2 state's away. Closing on a family property nearby. On past visits, many years ago, I frequented this establishment ... which I would rate highly back then. This time was was not a quick run-through / pickup. I sat out on the back deck for about 2 hours and had excellent service throughout. Long day on the closing of our family property, they allowed me to sit and finish the final paperwork for the day. Also directed me to local accommodations, as I was too beat to make the journey home (would of had to stop overnight anyway). The food was great as I always have remembered it. I rated the atmosphere high not because of a party atmosphere (I was there starting late lunch), but because they left me in peace to do paperwork / emails AND allowed me to be on that back deck with my dog. There was another group of people there that had their same sized dog with them. The two of them ended up settling down under the table and resting - not disturbing. That made a long day better. In other words - kudos to the management, wait staff and chef."
"The view and atmosphere is phenomenal. We ordered an enchilada plate with three enchiladas rice and beans. We sat on the patio and the service was just ok. We might have sent it back but the waitress didn't come back soon enough. The rice was not standard Mexican rice. It was just boiled rice with some flavoring. The chef was probably not trained in authentic Mexican cooking. The pinto beans were flavorless and so thick it was like unflavored no salt or fat refried beans. The beef enchilada the meat was kind of rubbery. The salsa had no onions garlic cilantro or salt. It was just tomatoes and a large chunks of chopped jalapenos or poblano peppers. The chips were flavorful but quite thick and hard. The tomatillo sauce was quite spicy as if there were ground up jalapenos in it. It was the worst tomatillo sauce I've ever had and I have eaten Mexican food all over Southern California and all the upscale Mexican. Restaurant chains. So, the Pepsi was outstanding. The view is terrific overlooking the golf course and Sleeping Giant. The inside decor is great, it's a great location and very Mexican looking but this is probably a good place to go if you are NOT hungry and just want a beer or beverage. I am sorry to write such a negative review but if the owner sees this and wants to hire someone as a food consultant I know someone who is available and they can contact me through this post."
